I knew I was in trouble when... I didn't double check my cards and played my flopped flush all the way to the river , only it look down at AQos when I got it all in. ( I've got plenty more but I never made this mistake again, wi

I once called a reraise with Ace three suited. On an Ace high flop we both checked and on a three turn i fired out a bet only to get raised. Felt weird but i still announced "allin" only to get snapped off by Aces and bust.

I knew I was in trouble when I held a pair of Aces, shoved all-in on the flop, and my opponent called. They had a straight, and it looked like I was just handing away my chips—until the turn and river were dealt, completely turning the tables and giving me a full house. I am never making a mistake like this again.

My most embarrassing moment was in a heads-up duel against a guy I’d already decided was my personal enemy 😂 I got dealt pocket kings (K♠ K♥), raised big, and he called with A♦ 7♦. The flop came K♦ 8♦ 3♣, so I hit a set and thought I had him trapped. I kept betting, convinced he was just chasing. The river was 5♦, completing his flush, and I paid him off anyway! Then this guy started spamming laughing emojis and victory emojis at the table like he’d just won the wsop 🤣😂🏆💃🕺. I wanted to close the App and disappear. Losing the chips hurt, but his emoji celebration made it ten times more embarrassing! 🤡💸😭

I bet with A-10 and my opponent called. The flop came 2-2-7; I checked, and he checked back. A 10 hit the turn—I checked again, and he checked as well. Finally, an Ace landed on the river; I decided to raise 6x, and he shoved all-in. I thought, "Damn, he can't possibly have those damn ducks [a pair of 2s]..." but sure enough, he blasted me with a pair of 2s. WPT GLOBAL>Nick:AK47RAISE

I knew I was in trouble when I mis clicked with 93 of spades after a huge 3-bet. I was on another table and the other one popped suddenly.
The original raiser folded and somehow the 3 better checked on a flop with 2 spades. I checked ofc and the turn brought an ace of spades. Now the other player shoved. I had no choice but to call. I was really embarrassed when I saw their AA, no boat on the river and I cracked those aces, knocking a player out too. It was his fault though.

I knew I was in trouble when I re-raised A K on a flop which had 7 10 3. Thinking I was going to hit the A or K on the turn or the river, I got nothing - the turn came a Q - i raised once more to try to make the other player fold now - using pressure as the only hope I had - but he would not back down and called my raise and than came the river - which was a 9. I had missed on getting anything so I tried one last time to raise - but the other player quickly re-raised me this time almost to finish me off, I had no choice but to back down and fold, I had started with 50bbs and by the time I was folding i was down to a whimsy 14bb - and that really messed up my chances to recover and soon enough I did get knocked out from the game... I should have realised from the start to have played more cool headed and avoided the costly mistake I made...

Once playing live, I opened the card quickly and didn't see it right, I thought I had AA and it was A4, I hit it all in, the opponent paid AA in fact, when it came to the showdown I saw what a stupid thing I had done, and by the luck of the deck, I hit 44J on the flop, K on the turn and another 4 on the River, I made a court and doubled my chips in a total playing error lol

This is why we love poker:
2nd level of a tournament... an incredibly loose player calls my massive 3bet with KJ. The badugi flop comes, something like 932... he checks, I bet 30% with pocket queens, he shoves for 110bb and I have him covered by 6bb, so I call... and a King hits on the river.
I knew I was in trouble, who would have doubted it?
the very next hand, 3!! players got knocked out of the tournament, and I managed to stack up ~30bbs... a 5x increase, holding 76 suited.
And then step by step, I went on to win the whole thing, even knocking out the guy who had left me with 6 bbs. 🤣 🤣

I sometimes click "Check" early, like a genius, and the button turns into "Call" the instant the guy before me shoves. Just like that, my entire stack is in the pot with a hand I only wanted to check. The worst part is that it keeps happening, and I should've learned my lesson by now.

I knew I was in trouble when... I called the preflop all in with the ducks 22, opposition fellow had pocket KK. Flop had a K & a duckie to help me out. I was thinking maybe this was too much to trust those mighty ducks and then on the turn was a duckie ! So lucky Quads. Duck dynasty had done it again.. somehow.

I knew I was in trouble when I limped pocket Aces to be tricky and got 5 callers!

Flop came 9-8-7 all hearts, I don't have a heart. Checked, guy bets, another raises, I shove... and two people snap call. One had 10-6 for straight, other had flush. I was dead on flop.

Most embarrassing hand ever. I tried to be fancy with AA and learned my lesson - never slowplay in multiway pot!

Good luck everyone!

I realized I was in trouble when I threw this card, and it was the strongest card on the table. Sometimes you regret a decision you made without any risk. The real enemy of poker players is fear and haste.

I knew I was in trouble when I get to participate in a hand at the bubble or near the bubble when I have any kind of pocket pairs... from duces to aces!

Everytime I get in the action I lose... unbelievable! I tried one time to fold AAs in the bubble... and guess what?! I saved myself from being eliminated...

But I hope its gonna be different on WPT Poker this time! Hahaha

Haha! I've done that - literally right as I'm clicking, they shove, and then I automatically called right after. 😭 These days I don't pre-click anything unless it's to fold.

I had almost this exact thing happen to me in Reno, except it wasn't an all-in pre-flop. I was at a cash game at Circus Circus, and this poor kid - I kept stacking him. He just kept making little mistakes, and also, I'll admit I was on a hot streak that day too (@Debi was there too... lol). But he wanted so badly to "get me back" - so kept rebuying. He was good natured about it, so that was good.

Anyway, our group was getting ready to go to lunch, but he asked for a few more hands (at that point it was just the two of us playing now). So I obliged. I look down at pocket 2s, he's first to act and min-raises. 😏 Of course I call. The difference is, the flop came K22. He had KK, was trying to trap me. After the flop, I trapped him, and stacked the poor kid again. 😆 He said, maybe I better take a lunch break too... lol.

My confession is that I have a voice in my ear when I'm playing poker that says "Don't chase draws, don't chase draws!"
And I almost never listen to the advice...

I've changed this now so that you just have to have your WPTG name in your profile. I'll change that requirement for all promos.
