Do you notice any difference between the RNG on 888poker and GGPoker, or do they feel the same to you?
I agree. I wasn't saying the RNG is different. I was just curious if people feel any difference between the sites based on their own experience, even if it's only because of the different player pools.fundiver199 said:RNG means Random Number Generator. Its not possible to be random in different ways, so they are all exactly the same, as are the human dealers in live games. Unless perhaps if you play in a private home game, where someone is cheating.
But in the case of Poker rooms it's a pseudo-random number generator, so differences are technically possible - whether that difference is detectable in any significant way is highly unlikely but the OP question is valid.fundiver199 said:RNG means Random Number Generator. Somehow I escaped the "withdrawal curse" on 888 Poker, when I played there. My original account when I lived in Denmark:Mr.Ram said:On 888, however, the RNG seems directly tied to the site's bottom line: as long as you’re depositing and generating rake, everything is fine, but the moment you withdraw money, you suddenly turn into a loser.
