ACR’s $1.4 Million High Five series starts Wednesday

Your long Thanksgiving Weekend just got even tastier! That’s because Americas Cardroom is cooking up five days of action with the High Five Tournament Series running Wednesday, November 22nd through Sunday, November 26th.

The High Five has $1,400,000 guaranteed over 25 tourneys (five per day), including a $420,000 Main Event on Sunday. Plus, all BIG 10 tourney guarantees will be doubled during the series.

And in keeping with the 420 theme, there’s a 10-minute break every day at 4:20 pm ET so players can take a breather (so to speak).
Below is the guaranteed Featured Event for each day, along with the buy-in. All times ET. More tourneys can be viewed in the accompanied picture.

Wednesday (11/22) at 6:00pm - $100,000 - $250+15
Thursday (11/23) at 7:00pm - $80,000 - $300+20
Friday (11/24) at 3:30pm - $60,000 - $150+10

Sunday (11/26) at 4:20pm - $420,000 - $420+30

So you might want to update that ticket.

Hi, I got the response from the IT department. It seems something related to your computer (The one with Windows 8.1) Could be the video card or something related to the display from your computer. I would recommend you to use the other computer with Windows 7.

ACR's fix did not start my table for me. Had to kill the table and retake my seat. Cost me 280 chips without seeing a card. Thanks, ACR. No. I mean it. THANKS. Cure as bad as the tech problem.

How about that. I am using a Win7 Acer Aspire laptop as well. Finished the tourney and won 33 cents. The problem with ACR is persisting. Several times my table froze without warning. Just stopped. I had the lobby displayed and killed the table every time the message "Take My Seat" was displayed. Because of MY actions I DID NOT lose any more chips due to frozen tables. ACR has bugs that need fixing. Just saying. :cool:

The issue was caused due to the ISP provider, it wasn't related to our application.

I don't have the specific timeframe, but I could tell you that we will add something soon! Once it's ready I do a post here :) and also we will announce it on our website.

DID THE ISP PROVIDER pause the tourney??? NO!!!! YOU DID!

It should have been your responsibility to insure the players began where they were frozen at. Just say'n. One more example of responsibility that keeps me from depositing or giving this site a recommendation to anyone else.

freerolls are an easy target. I can accept being blown off when the client blames their mistakes on God or satan or snow storms. I avoid huge amounts of anger and stress by not trusting you with the cash already in my pocket. Just say'n.

Oh okay, still are related to the display. I'm still checking your case with the department, soon they will send me other information.

Meanwhile, could you tell me what resolution you are using in both computers.

Laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1750 running W7 with auto updates.
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for mobile
1600x900 which is apparently the max for this system.

Desktop in question is an
HP Pavillion m/n HPP7-1110 running W8.1 with auto update
Intel HD Graphics on the MB latest driver update May2015
1680X1050

The Laptop had the issue of the pot chips covering my cards.

The desktop has the problem where I can't down size the graphics in Jackpots, or SnG 2.0 (and maybe another section) enough to make a reasoned decision.

@ACR Rep I am really confused I called CS and told them I have a guy on want to sign up for your site ( I was in 3 games at the time) so I called, got CS and asked them what my referal code would be or where I could find it at which point I was told "we don't do referal codes." So I explained I want to sign up someone new to your site is it possible to get credit for getting to sign up ?
I was told no we do not do that.
So I sent my friend to the site and he signed up

I thought that was Odd that you do not offer a referal of any sort . So once I was down to two games I checked your site and you have an affiliate link.

I'll check it over when I am done playing but curious if there is any possiblity of getting my friend under my affiliate link? Since I tried to figure out the process before hand and was given conflicting advice given your website

Is ACR privately owned? Where is it headquartered? Where is it registered? How come you do not have a gaming commission? How come you do not allow players from NV or NJ??
