Another freebuy that is stuck after 2 hours of play. And it is probably going to get cancelled and get promised a $0 refund as per term and conditions. I mean how many days in a row this has happenned now an still no solution in sight. You can not handle the numbers..You need your infrastructure to be upgraded or renewed or more servers. Its now 5 months of upgrading or whatever it is. Or you need to schedule the tournament with big nrs so that they do not run at the same time.

Yes. Since the initial buy-in for the freebuys is $0 we don't get that back. (Rebuys/add-ons are not refunded). Still, if it is post-late reg. we should still get ICM chop of prize pool .

They may have but i know for sure back when US was allowed to play on Pokerstars and Party poker or the others i played on This never happened. Not sure when it went down yesterday a i was gone most of the day after the 500 GTD freebuy but from what im reading nothing has been played out since. Id say they need a WHOLE NEW IT department if they didnt have the site ready for the numbers to begin with.
Its been how long since this supposed "upgrade"? Did they go cheap with the servers? or IT department?
But we know what the ACR rep has been told to tell us when they finally come to give explanation.
They are working hard to resolve this. Um no if they were good(and hard working) IT to begin with we wouldnt be talking about this how long now after upgrade!!!

Doesn't surprise me,all WPN does is reel you all in to believe that there's all these updates and problems when in all reality PEOPLE they are behind it all. Total scam site and its completely lame that's all USA players got. Get with it,if you love to play poker go to a casino. If you can't ? Play for fun somewhere on the web because you ain't gonna win squat on these WPN sites. The only ones that ever come out and say "oh its a great site iv'e won tons" are all FOS!:laugh:

Confident level of your clients are dropping fast and might be at the very bottom if you don't start employing real IT personnel to fix your system.
Worst still, you gave us the Freebuy series and it's like 2 out of 3 had hicups in the middle of play.
You are like telling us:" Hey guys, come in and have free buffet for everyone."
And when everybody was seated......The food truck never arrive.

Tell your kids you will bring home candy after work but you don't deliver.
Tell that again the third time and see if your kids will trust you anymore.

Sounds like the servers cant handle the load when they open it up for the masses to play freerolls. Which is probably why they ran a) Venom only, then b) limited choices of tournaments before trying to restart the freerolls.

They answer must be buy more hardware.

As an aside the making the table screen unreadable to BOT's also affects those of us with old eyes. An option to change to a readable larger font would be nice.

I was just thinking this myself. I wish someone with a tech/computer background would explain what the actual "technical issues" could be. With all the money ACR makes in rake, can they not afford to upgrade the servers? What is the problem? This lack of transparency is what makes people angry and makes them come up with conspiracy theories about what WPN is up to. And I don't want to hear that its the new software. It's not. This kind of stuff has been going on long before the new software was launched.

Actually, I made a mistake in my post. The rules say exactly this:
Should any Freebuy tournament is cancelled while in late registration, all rebuys will be refunded to players. Should the Freebuy be cancelled [after] late registration, the prize pool will be distributed via ICM chip count to remaining players.

This is absurd. I remember another site that ran a couple of big freerolls and suspiciously crashed during game play. The site was called
"Lock Poker"
Not a good site to be compared with.

Was playing in 500 freeroll for over 6 hours only two tables ten people were left of over 2200 site went down. I hope you people will split the money that between the 10 people who were left. THATS A LONG TIME PLAYING FOR NOTHING.

I agree it's frustrating, but I really hope ACR can get it's act together as it can be a great place to play and yes one of very few options for us in the US. One thing I was confused about when I played the $5000 freeroll for a limited time before it crashed last night was the 2 rebuys for free. The first time I clicked rebuy a screen came up and I was back in the game. The next time I clicked rebuy, I saw a screen that said I could watch an ad or buy in for $3, I selected watch an ad and got in and an ad came up. It made me wonder if the first time I rebought it might have charged me $3, which I did not agree to and no way would I have done for just 1000 chips at that point in the tourney. I thought that rebuy for free or $3 part was a bit of a mess. I guess if it did charge me it will be refunded as the tourney froze up. Also I cashed $1 in the breast cancer tourney but then that tourney crashed. I hope I still have my $1 I won from that. They don't take money away if you cash do they?
