Deleting account on PokerStars

Hello,

How I can delete my account on PokerStars? I have not found option for it

Adding some details since a lot of people want to know what to do in this situation.

If you find that have accidentally created 2 accounts at PokerStars - or any other poker site for that matter - the best thing to do is contact customer support and explain your situation to them. They will be happy to delete one of the accounts for you - as long as nothing fishy has gone on with the 2 accounts.

If you have done something like use both accounts at the same time - or violated additional policies with how you have used them - then it is always possible they will delete both accounts.

So - be very careful when creating new accounts and make sure that you don't already have one. Follow their T&C and you won't have anything to worry about!

Just email support saying you want the account deleted. But you need to email them from the exact email that is associated with it. Hopefully this helps sir

if you delete PS account, can you come back, and would you have to use old screen name?

That is a very good question...And yeah why delete it P.S in the first place, it's the best site on the net known to date besides the new FT apparently...

Also about that I often wondered about it myself, and If I could delete it just in-order to change up my SN I most certainly would in a heartbeat just for the sole purpose..

I accidentally created second account, and that was reason to delete one. Yes you need to send e-mail to support. They answered quick, and deleted account.

So let me get this correct, you created a 2nd account by mistake

, then recalled your 1st account after creating your 2nd account (which was by mistake)

..

Than sent in an email confirming your thoughts about you having created an account on stars in the 1st place, and they said no worries, we will just delete the 1st account for you (but don't let it happen again)...

I think I have a loop hole to create a 2nd account, thx for the idea

I would imagine you would need new email address, new mailing address new bank account, and maybe even new IP address.
Eventually they would catch up to you and freeze your accounts, and I imagine it's usually when you're trying to cash out, so that would suck.
I think the best thing to do is maybe use your wife's name to start an account, or something like that.

No second account is deleted. Poker stars leave yours primary account. First account i created with gmail address an my real post address. Did not played a year or so. In meantime started to use another g-mail account and instead to login in old account i created new. After few hours realized that is not allowed and therefore asked to delete second....On the second account mailing address were same as on the first account, my name to, I have not made any transaction with a second.......

Jesus, they shut it down in one country for being caught out for cheating people of their money, so it reopened somewhere else if you want a fair game go to sky poker UK

I deleted my account ages ago, play for your self and see how it is stacked against you it's actually quite funny how they screw even just pennies out of you,
Complete and utter disgrace. I only tried it because of Android App but it's just a con
Go elsewhere trust me

Start a real business like car washing I think that would suit your managing directors mentally

Actually the same thing happened to me. I created my first account and did not played for a year or so. I changed my email adress from yahoo to gmail and i created a second PS account. They announced me after a while and transfered few dollars from the frst one to the second one. They are not unreasonable. They saw that there was no activity for a long while. I think we are not the first monkeys that forgot about the first account. And money is still money. They want people to play as long they do not cheat.
Probabely the only way to change your SN at will is to change your identity.

Thanks for the reminder. I'd completely forgotten about FullTilt. I've been having some problems with the Pokerstars software that customer/technical support hasn't been able to resolve. I'm going to give the FullTilt software a try. See if that works better for me.

Okay, cool. I've downloaded the FullTilt software update and see the Cardschat freerolls there. I'll try playing it today thru the FullTilt client to see if it works better for me.

So I tried playing the CC freeroll in the FT client. Had one of the two same software problems as with Stars.

I did notice though that my pocket Aces actually held up, which was a nice change. Pocket Kings were crushed, as is normal. 72o still somehow seems to often be a good hand to play (wish I got that more often). A number of CC FRC members like to show their cards which is always nice - takes the guesswork out of playing. Not that there's a lot of guesswork required since most CC members play really tight.

I'm still finding full ring tables to be a challenge since I don't often get the good cards, and when I do get something playable I virtually never hit a flop. So if we do see a flop, my opponent is almost always playing from strength, and will never fold. I much prefer 6-max.

You can delete it by contacting the support center, email them and wait for response. Once you got your account deleted, no matter how many time from cancelled, you can re opened the same account or create a new one, the only thing is that they are not going to provide you the same beneffits that they give to new players, but you can have your account back anytime anyplace
