Do not play on Global Poker!

I wrote this last summer and completely dumped Global Poker. There is a litany of complaints about how Global Poker would simply ignore players who would complain about bots, collisions, failure to pay, and a myriad of other issues. On-line poker simply does not have any integrity. There has been proven cheating in the past with the most reputable poker sites, and these so-called secure games cannot seem to curtail artificial bots a player collusion. In the end, the only ones who win are those who own and operate the sites. Some schmuck who will a few hundred grand or a million in some tournament is literal peanuts compared to the hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars these dodgy offshore poker sites bring in for their owners. Finally, all of the poker sites are set up in 3 world banana republics where corruption proliferates and both politicians and regulators are in the back pockets of the white collared criminals that run their shady companies offshore.

Anyone who is going to stand around and advocate on-line poker is in complete denial. Nothing stops me from setting up 9 different laptop computers with 9 different IP address registered to 9 different names (friends who can open accounts for me for a cut of the actions) and sit either by myself or with other day and night and fleece honest players through collusion. On-line poker is bullshit, a scam, plain and simple.

If people are now cheating by exploiting the use of RFID card readers in live games, then just imagine what is reality in on-line poker.

Never played global poker sounds pretty shady from posts I read but I do believe there is a lot of advantage taking just gotta use your gut and be aware if feels dishonest I feel good about 2 sites I play Ignition and AMCR

I think it's okay. I'd stick to freerolls for a while. Their weekly bonanza is sweet.

is Global poker for online only ? in other words do they have room to download or just for online type of game ?

A commited person I was, but have times changed. To believe someone who writes a letter for the well being of others, or to learn the hard way for your own beliefs and sake. I've been playing poker since I was nine and I started playing global poker at age 21. I am now 25 years old and from playing this site daily, here is how global poker really treated me.

On global poker I played everything from cs to sweeps, from hold'em to Omaha. I had much much fun! But no matter how hard i tried playing perfect, the site always seemed to suprise!

Today i had one of my usual bad beats. The AI deals me pocket jacks, and I x3 bet. big blind calls and so does the 3rd person to the right of me. Bored comed 4s, 7d, Qs. As there is A queen sidecide to bet half pot, and the guy calls. Next card comes Qh. I see theres no flush yet and decide to push half pot bet again, but now the pots bigger. River card comes boom, Jc, and I was dealt two J's already, and was given A full house.the guy raises and I push all in. And there it was my oppenent beat me woth Qs four of a kind.

This isn't the first bad beat, it seems like i'm usually the player to lose first, by always comming in second or so, by the slimmist equity of dealt hands. I'd undersand losing A 3 of a kind to a straight... but somehow the least expect hits, and its only been on my side one time. ONE TIME!!!!

I play poker in my backyard, I player poker at casinos. I've been in final tables at my local casino, "the Bicycle casino", but no matter how many times I put money into this site, I get unlucky to cash out.

The chances on winning on this poker site is less then the odds of what I believe poker really is. You can be wise to take my advice from what I learned, or be stubborn and actually learn the hard way.

All in all, it's fine to play for free on this site, for they offer daily sweeps that you can save up. How they get all that money to give away? I don't know. But as soon as you think you should try it out and throw money in, just know the chance of you getting that money back on this site is very very slim.

When it comes to risking sweeps on this site, I do believe it's rigged. If only I can sue for my time and money.

It is one BIG RIG pulling that pants down of every player. Stay away from this scam site.

Absolutely agree about global poker BS thieves The site is a bunch of these and what I hate most about global poker is that their customer service lies straight to your face even when you provide multiple emails sent from them stating otherwise. On the 17th of this month I got into a $22 bounty tournament. I play a couple hands and then I got kicked out off the site but everything else I am operating on different websites different things have no problem running and when contacting them about me getting kicked out the tournament they tried to tell me they were aware of some Internet problems from Canada to USA and that it wasn’t their fault and that they were going to do a good gesture and refund those who were affected. I had 7500 and chips and win I was finally able to log back in I was down the 2000 chips and the blinds were so big I was forced to go in twice. They told me that the players affected would get their money back and those who won obviously get to keep the winnings and that it would be done by Monday night and then I talk to a different customer support person who said everybody’s account was corrected but mine wasn’t I never got my $22 back. And now the customer support is saying that there was no problems with the site and it didn’t affect anybody but that’s not true I have emails showing that they already knew something was wrong and how they were going to refund players and now literally I’ve sent like 40 emails and they are sitting there dodging my emails left and right so as far as I’m concerned I will no longer deposit on this site ever again and I’m gonna do everything I can to fight for people who’s been ripped off on this site and possibly try to get this site shut downWhat a joke. This is why you don’t want to wrap your money up in a poker site can you imagine if you have $1000 bet and something like that happens and you know perfectly that your internets working correctly and they try to get out of it by saying nothing happened on there and after you have multiple emails proving that they already knew about it and my hand history you can clearly tell that a whole gap of time is missing and made sure to try for a different devices and four different search engines absolutely could not get on but everything else works perfectly fine and it’s their way of counting the players out of their money pierThey say they have a legit site here in the US but really I think it’s a Ponzi scheme there’s no question that they stole my money because when you show them proof upon proof upon proof upon proof of emails and they just dodger emails imagine trying to cash out a lot of money imagine taking that really big bag and this happens it’s a joke people and my money was stolen. epa, the truth did not know that information, if I heard in some places that some more recognized poker rooms have many bots in each game and that is not a good thing since what joke would there be to play at those tables

I'm guessing this will increase numbers at GG Poker.
I'm also guessing that many players fully trust the deposit/withdraw process there as they're entering tourneys regularly that have $25,000 usd buyins! (WoW! That is HUGE!)

Because Global Poker is another on-line poker scam site just like Pokerbros and PPPoker.

There RNG at global is very awful. I play Heads Up Sngs only. I played for six months straight no days off. I understand that there is high variance in HU but global takes the fun out of playing poker. One of my strong points is paying attention to how my opponents play and adapting. The more hands you play in a short amount of time, the more you notice the how those cards hit. For example, whenever I am dealt pocket pairs my opp would have an Ax in hand. Doesn't matter how i play pre flop both in position/out of position, my opponents would call and hit an ace on that board. I can go on and on but to some it up, I watch my opponents win with the same hands I loose with. There's a lot of bad players on global which makes it easy to exploit them but the RNG rewards bad players. My game still needs improvement. However, when you can predict the outcome of how these cards hit based what cards you hold, it's not random. I also noticed how there's ace's on almost every board on this site.

I see this all the time in Cardschat, This site uses Bots, or that site is rigged, this one favors the big stacks etc, etc. If you feel that a poker site is crooked, don't play on it! It is that simple.
I have played on a fair few over the years and one thing I have never done is deposit my own cash on them. I play purely for the fun and taking part in a game I enjoy. Sure it takes time to build up a bank-roll from Free-rolls but it is possible, I have done it on a few sites.
If I enjoy the layout of the tables and the graphics I keep playing, but if I get bored with them I would move on to another site or return to a site I have enjoyed in the past. Pokerstars will always be one of my favorite sites and they always seem to be one of the best.
The beauty of my system is simple if I lose to a bad beat or suck-out on the river I move on to the next game or take a break for a day or two. These things happen on-line and in Live games I have been on the losing end of miracle cards hitting the Turn or River and also witnessed and been the player to hit these miracle cards.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

I have to agree with one of the responders . . . I too have had questions of integrity so I decided to play just for fun and not 'worry' about the money investment, but honestly that did not last for long. So now I play off their free rolls . . .

It sounds like a good idea to avoid many of the poker sites whenever possible for Live poker. There is always a chance of employess helping themselves or friends even in the smallest of ways.

although I do not want to believe it, I am obliged to accept it. Laundering money in a tax haven with online poker platforms is quite advantageous. I would hate to be treated like peanuts but a few thousand dollars more in my account would make me richer. I believe that world governments tolerate this practice, and as we live in this corrupt world, I understand that we have to dance to the music, or break the radio.

I've been playing Gold Coin (play money) tournaments at Global Poker for way more than a year now and I've enjoyed it very much. If you are playing a single table sit-and-go or cash table the situation is wide open for collusion no matter if you are playing online or live. Though my guess is that it would be much more prevalent online. I can't see how it would be worthwhile in a multi-table tournament because the colluders cannot guarantee that they will be on the same table.

Global poker is a complete scam. Unless an online site is properly regulated then criminals will always find a way to cheat others.
Be careful though some of these sites are truly ran by very dangerous organizations.
They put there little front men out front but in reality they stealing millions from unsuspecting players.
These days I just play freerolls and use those winnings for any real money games.

The main goal of these companies is to make money, if they stick to collecting rake then they arent going to be able to organize tournaments with high stakes. Are they legitimate? yes! are they stealing money? yes! is there collusion and bots and people hacking other players accounts for info? yes! is the card shuffle prog secured and unbreakable and unhackable, duh, what do you think? few days ago I was trying to make a deposit at PS and to my amazement I glanced Cyrillic alphabet on my cashier. but as most of us do when they just open the cashier to make a deposit or withdraw money, I clicked on withdraw, when I r wealized that I ve seen Cyrillic alphabet I tried to goback to the previous window and there were none, I contacted the support and they asked me for a screenshot. I tried to restart the prog and take a screenshot of my cashier, unfortunately the cyrillic alphabet disappeared. PS support wants a proof to support my claim as if I am going to invent such an incident. I mean, yes online poker is veeeeeeeery secure, live poker is secure too.
Why keep playing online and live poker, well I learned that you cant keep your friends if you play poker against them.

Only 10% of people are winning players (roughly), maybe has something to do with why people think these sites are a scam.

Global has never been slow paying me except for the very first. Most times it's within a couple days and last two times was within a day. I realized play is way softer than any other site.. it's probably why you see more ridiculous hands beating you.

The myriad of bad beats on the river that I have experienced with Global Poker has convinced me to never play on-line poker again. During the previous 20 minutes prior to creating this posting, I had a series of bad beats on 4th street leading into the river when I have shoved all-in on opponents (in different rooms with different stakes) that all miraculously made overcalls with gunshot draws to only make the winning hand on the river. Sure, this happens in real life; albeit seldom. But this happened to me 8 separate times within 20 minutes while playing on this site.

twenty minutes online you play the same amount of hands as in an hour and thirty minutes live ... so the variation is greater ... I have already concluded that there is no theft, poker is still a friend. I made so little investment in poker, and I only have profits, there would be no reason why they would let me win tournaments all the time ... But the fact is that not always the best hand wins before the river!

You will have times when everything will work out and you will only win! enjoy this time
