Using an LLM is no different from using google. They're highly reliable at answering basic legal questions or giving you the basic expert consensus on a topic. That's what they
should be used for.
I'm the most anti-LLM person on this forum, but this was a
proper use case (and I marked it as LLM-generated by leaving it in image form). I have at no point used LLMs as a substitute for my own writing, I used them to provide you with basic legal facts. "But you can look it up on their webite though!" is a stock-standard reply that the LLM has read thousands of times in the training data; it doesn't even have to give its own reply, it just recites the reply it has already heard.
Do you actually doubt that this type of thing would be illegal in advertisements? Because if so, I can dig up a legal document for you. But it seems like you're just using it as an excuse because you don't have a counter-argument. "OH MY GOD, SHE USED AN LLM TO DEBUNK ME". Yea, it's not my fault if your argument can be debunked with an elementary fact-check. If you don't want your argument to be debunked with one google search or LLM query, then I suggest you make better arguments.
