$50K rejection, wow

Funny how easy it is to deposit - withdraw $$$, suddenly you're a criminal??? How about they let you credit your winnings to the owners of the account that they allowed a deposit on - why not?

I m shocked yes.
They could or stop my deposits from other credit cards or they credit my winnings to the owners of credit cards I agree

Pokerstars only is pushing away the payment and I don’t know when their “ investigation “ will finish

It takes time to verify the details through the system around 48 hours once the details do not match they freeze the account and contact the customer for verification.

my friend this happens in any place where you have to make a deposit, you can never deposit with a credit card that you are not the owner, so poker stars is verifying trying to contact the banks and credit card holders.

If his case was clear cut as he said they would have sorted him out a long time now.

They would have refunded the deposit amounts to the cards he used and held his winnings in his account for about a month or so while they audit the account and then pay him usually via bank wire or cheque and close his account.

Remember using some else card without their permission is considered fraud and you can get in trouble with the authorities for doing so. A lesson for us all.

50K is a lot of money. Many of us have not accumulated that much in lifetime cashes far less in profit. I am interested in how you won that amount I would like to try to win it too.

If you indeed is somehow legit with your story maybe someone can point you in the right direction to help you get it sorted.

Write to support pokerstars and have them contact you with top leaders of security, I think that they will be able to solve your problem.

I understand that more than 6 months have passed and you are not given any response.
I think you should not only write to postcondition already it is necessary to call or appoint a meeting. After all, $ 50,000 is a amount of money

well if you cant deposit with someone elsed credit card why would pokerstars actually take a deposit from a credit card without the name of the member using it on it. Seems to me there is a double standard. basically theyell take money from a card not in your name unless you win then there is a problem with it. The man won as long as there is not a issue with unauthorized transaction on any of the cards give the man his money

Yeah I don't like that either, but as long as I've been playing I have heard of all the sites doing this. They take the money and only give you a problem when you go to cash out. They used to say(and might still) that it was because they wouldn't do a security check until you tried to cash out, but maybe they have changed it in the more recent years and actually do security checks after you deposit... but from reading this thread it seems that may not be the case, as I've only seen one person say they check after making a deposit .
The other problem is that not very many people actually read the ToS of the sites, but if they did they would be more informed on the matter and maybe not make mistakes that cause accounts to get closed. It usually is a lot to read, but I personally would rather read all that stuff and know, than not read it and be surprised about something later.

Never heard anything like this for pokerstars before, why didn't you used your own credit card , would avoid all those unpleasantness ;(

but if you didn't stole , and you can confirm it (probably will include you, your friend , his card , PS , his bank history , ID's... who knows :) ) then I strongly believe , that you'll get your money and account back ;)

I wish I could deposit 20 euros , and finish with 50k$+ , maybe one day :)

GL
Yeah that'll be awesome

I didn't know about this rule...
How about if you withdraw with the same card you used for deposit?

It's when you go to withdraw is when they do a full check on your account & they won't let the withdrawal go through.

They'll allow the deposits to go through via credit cards in someone else's name (as most sites will & do) but again, it's when it comes to making the withdrawal you get nothing.
I have a neighbor who used to be a friend & who I discovered had opened 7 different accounts on Stars, hoping to get first depositor bonuses each time. But he kept going busto so he'd open a new one & figured he was getting away with something. Then he started buying funds from me, telling me he didn't want to use his credit card for some reason & wanted to save on the fees with the MC GiftCards. (I also let him use my internet connection on occassion, when he was having disconnects with his own (service in my area used to suck)). I had numerous transactions with him (he's a 70+ yr. old man... I had zero reason to believe he wasn't honest at the time) and ended up having my account closed as a result of my links with him. (but all of my money was refunded to me, along with all Tourney $'s & Tickets).

It's when the player tries to withdrawal is when the account gets investigated. I'm sure they won't mind not paying a former customer $50k because they didn't follow the rules. 'gg' 'wp'

Hello,
what's the interest of putting money with the card from another? Paysafecard is a good way to be anonymous.
And who is stupid enough to put you money with his credit card .... Sorry, but I will put no money for a "friend" on his account with my card, for various reasons: maybe a crook, his account can not be "clear" their PC may be infected, ability to retrieve my card numbers ....

Maybe you have had multiple accounts that have been fed by these cards?

If you had stayed clear, there would have been no problem, but now you are a little dark :vollkomme

But I wish you to recover that sum and for that amount, I will contact a lawyer.

Same problems my mother had with Paddypower on the I network for less money though after her heart attack she was not very mobile and found walking hard and not having a visa card she used to walk in or out of bookies shop for deposits or withdrawals.
My sister regularly used her debit card and my Mam would give her the cash depositing 20 a week for a year or more.
Then it was day before her birthday I told her I will deposit at bookmakers shop in person the next day as her birthday present but the fact she had zero balance she begged me to use my bank card told her might cause problems but she insisted it was ok as she used the sisters and would not listen.
So I let her use it thinking she might lose it anyhow and the bookie not concerned but she won and could not get a withdrawal from bookies shop with her photo I.D they took thousands on different cards but would not pay out lousy 500.
She no longer plays there after they would not listen to the story I just told you but they let her gamble it back and lose it
Beware guys stick to one card know it is hard at times though.
In future do not complicate things for yourself and poker site and use one card.
Definitely if you were not cheating and just getting loans from friends or giving them cash because your own card was zero solicitor route must be taken or bye bye 50000 good luck.

Also i think it's about time that pokerstars have live support! That'll help with a lot of issues. In this day and age live support mandatory with these large online companies!

Pokerstars has had live chat a long time now. It is not 24/7 can't remember exact times but they are available mainly during day hours US EST. Go to help tab from inside client and live chat will show up if it is available.

This is a joke ; Open a Poker Stars Account : Mini deposit and then try to get banned . They want your money and will accept truck loads of abuse , all credit card deposits from anywhere and anyone . Payouts are a completely different scenario and rigtards will also tell you , once a successful withdrawal is made , get ready to make a lot of deposits ..
