FWIW, they asked for victims. 😱

What police? Where? In what form was this complaint? Can you post a copy of this complaint?

No, unfortunately he cannot or will not give even the slightest bit on info on anything other than to ask for account details and date of withdrawal. I have asked for the most basic of information both in the thread and in private message, he refuses. I still wish him luck in his endeavor

FWIW, a number of people have respectfully asked for the most basic of information regarding the complaint. You ask for people to provide their information without supplying the information about the complaint they are putting their name on

How will you verify this info?

A copy of the complaints with all the details and my identity, as opposed to a screenshot of a Lockopoly $$ balance/pending withdrawal and a name people have sent to me(which I have not verified).

-> I honestly have to LMAO

So, the answer to the question I came for I can't find here. Lock has these free games running mon, wed, and fri, late reg 3 hrs, 15 min levels, start 5k stack, 12 reentries allowed in that 3 hrs, and pays 25 a 109$ ticket to a 25k apparently, but only gets like 3-400 players, and I'm feeling but not sure that's because the site has a terrible history, and may still be terrible with payouts. What I'm trying to figure out is if it's worth my time to collect these tickets and play these $109 games in hopes that they will be paying players out in the future or if it's completely pointless. I mean it's a fairly simple 109$ ticket to get. So is Lock confirmed like going under, running bs games right now and not paying anyone or is it all still kind of up in the air and you either have faith or you don't?

Are you ****ing serious with this question? Are you unable to perform a simple google search?

There were like three confirmed payouts from Lock in ALL OF 2014. There are people on a well-known Lock pending payout list that have been waiting for over 2 years for their cashouts, and the average wait of the 396 players on this list is like 550 days.

You decide for yourself whether it's worth acquiring Lock's $109 tickets. If you choose play there, you are one of the world's stupidest humans.

'This Lock Poker payout review does not list the withdrawal options, speeds and fees available to non-U.S. players. Needless to say they pay out to international players so the same way as many other online poker rooms in 2015. This is somewhat difficult to write because there are two different payout speeds at Lock Poker. The old Lock Poker - from before they got booted off of the Revolution Network - technically has an ever-increasing 18-24 month payout speed because there are still a few hundred people who have been been paid from withdrawals requested in January of 2015. The "new 2015 Lock Poker" is paying new players much quicker. It is as though Lock Poker just wants their old customers - who will never deposit or play at Lock Poker again - to F*** off. They are hoping that they will just go away and stop asking for their money.'

That was my Google search, I came here for more opinions on the current, if there were any. I get that Lock is screwy, I won't be depositing by any means, but I also don't have problems collecting 109$ tickets for free as easy as they're offering with the possibility that they get their act together at some point.

So, I have 3 questions for you HooDooKoo.

1) Why do you parade around this forum belittling people constantly? I feel like 75% of the threads I look through I find you calling out someone, even total trolls like in here with the legal guy who's going to solve everyone's problems...

2) If you didn't know what Lock was currently doing with withdraws, and just knew that they aren't paying back old members still from google searches and/or your own personal withdrawal fails with them, why didn't you just state that? Why did you feel necessary to (attempt to) insult me?

And 3) There are easily far more stupid humans than those that would collect free 109$ tickets. I'm not sure how someone as elite as you are even was able to spit out that final sentence. Doesn't cost me a thing to collect it, and when I turn it into something, and they don't pay me, so what?

Lock Poker judgement year 2015

Hello Lock supporter(intents09),

The misleading information you have spread here in the forum is that you speak about US $109 tickets, while these in reality are Lockopoly $109 tickets!

-> and there is a huge different between US $ and Lockopoly $ 🙄

or if you can easily multitable and are fully aware that you most likely wont get paid...why not its good practice

LOCK POKER IS FRAUDULANT AND CRIMINAL

The Owner of LOCK stole the money from the players accounts to take all the pros they sponsored to a castle in scotland at 50K a night and now all the pros that WERE sponsored all pulled out because they knew what the owner was doing and didnt want their name to be associated with the company. I have been waiting for a long time for a lot of money and if I ever come face to face with Jennifer the Owner im going to beat the sht out of her and im not kidding i might even kidnap her she has ruined lives and deserves to have hers ruined as well. but THATS WHY SHES IN HIDING

1a. I don't parade anywhere.

1b. It's not my fault that most people ask stupid questions. IMO, people asking stupid questions deserve honest answers --- and those answers are almost always belittling. I don't need/want your approval, and I don't provide advice that has no merit. Ever.

2. Lock isn't paying ANYONE. They aren't ignoring the old players to pay the new players. They aren't paying ANYONE. The "information" that you're getting about recent payouts is from Lock shills trying to find ways to continue their Ponzi scheme. Believing anything else is gullible beyond belief.

3. Spending time collecting worthless $109 tickets is a complete waste of time. If you have nothing better to do, knock yourself out. But if you're trying to make any money playing poker, do it somewhere else. You will never get a cent from Lock.

Oh, God... "I don't parade anywhere." Did you read the article at the link I posted or even what I took from there? That guy/girl sure does sound like a Lock shill, with big bold letters saying don't deposit here it's NOT safe... About the 109$ worthless tickets... I think you're fine to say that it's a waste of time, but for yourself. I am a U.S. player, I am a micro player and have little funds on a few different sites, but I'm a stay at home dad so I have nothing but time. Having lock open for 1 freeroll every other day through the week that may/may not be worthless is not wasting anything, I'm still playing on the other sites. Again, I realize Lock has not been paying customers. But until they offer no more games and shut down, I'll hold onto faith that somewhere down the line someone will either buy them out or they will get people paid. You're clearly very angry with Lock yourself and wouldn't bother with these 109$ games. That's perfectly fine. But to belittle someone who might is strange. I know that you think it's never going to happen but what happens 6 months or a year from now when it comes out that Lock is paying players again? Assuredly you won't be apologizing for flipping out that some dumbass might still play a feeroll there. Wait, I know, I know, you didn't flip out. You just gave direct and honest feedback based on your clear superior knowledge.

I've never talked about being a supporter of Lock, nor depositing, and I'm not talking about a 109$ game, I'm talking about a freeroll for 25 seats to a 109$ game. So, for the last time, I, personally, don't see it as a waste of my time to goof off in their freeroll and collect 109$ tickets. I guess I'm just optimistic because the site still exists and is running. But it would not faze me in the slightest if I collected these tickets, played some 109$ games, built some cash and they didn't pay me when I withdrew. I lost 0$ and deposited 0$.

I guess this was my fault to begin with for asking a question that has no real solid answer. As it looks, it's probably not gonna do any good to collect the tickets, I get it, but there's no telling for sure whether they will get it together and get people paid in the future or not, it's all speculation. If, by chance, they do start paying players, I will be cheering, and if they never do, I'll just say, 'Oh, well, but for me, it was worth a go.'

1. Yes, I read the "article" you linked to. If I were shilling for Lock, this person's presentation is EXACTLY the approach I would use for Lock. This person acknowledges the past Lock payout issues, which creates trust with readers who know something about Lock's history. They then suggest that Lock is paying new players/depositors and not playing the old players who are a lost cause (will never play there again). This make sense and might create enough optimism that a new player might make a small deposit. The problem is: there is ZERO EVIDENCE THAT LOCK IS PLAYING ANYONE. NONE. So it looks like shilling to me. If you want to think otherwise, that is your prerogative. But you ASKED for other people's opinions. I gave you mine, and I assure that mine is a VERY informed opinion (insofar as anyone not working at Lock can be informed about their operation).

2. I am not angry about the Lock situation at all. I just don't think anyone should be supporting their Ponzi scheme in any way.

3. If you have the time/inclination to play the Lock freerolls hoping to win $109 tickets which you can convert into Lock "money", then play there. Just do so with the knowledge that any "profit" you generate at Lock is almost certainly imaginary profit.

Best of luck to you.

EXACTLY the 'presentation' you would choose? Haha it's a good thing you're not a 'shiller'. This would be a terrible 'presentation'. Author says not only that they wouldn't deposit themselves to figure out if they're(Lock 2.0) actually paying people or not, and also says on page big and bold do not deposit here, it's not safe. I think the author did a fine job of saying some say they're paying new players but I'm not going to find out myself. Not at all shilling to me. But nevermind that. I really don't care what the author's prerogative was with that. I didn't take it as I should trust Lock regardless of what anyone else is saying.

Your #3 is essentially how I closed my last comment. It's possible that it is all for not. I'm ok with that. I'm not devoting countless hours of time and energy into collecting these tickets, it's simply a side game to my regular games. And it's all a bonus if, in fact, Lock, or a new owner eventually does start paying players again.

1. Your gullibility and lack of intellect are incredible.

2. Lock will never pay, nor will they sell (although they certainly would if they could). There is no business to sell. If you weren't incredibly stupid, you would understand that.

Good luck to you.

Stay away from Lock... Their are plenty of other sites with good free rolls that actually payout.

Lock will never pay out... The fact that they can't pay out and are still having free rolls and rake back deals shows their A.) incompetence. or B.) A scam.

Either way Lock is not a successful business. Their brand name is tarnished to the point where no company will buy the company or buy out their debt.

If a site did buy out some of locks debt. (which I se eno upside other then maybe PR reasons) then they would probably only buy out players who had a withdraw request pending starting before everyone knew it was a poonzi scheme.. Though this scenario is unlikely and will never happen.

No one is going to trust Lock with deposits on a big enough scale to keep the business running successful again (again?) Therefore at this point in time in is just a scam and will payout to no one...

Edit: Also playing in the free rolls may seem harmless but it is not... It gives the image that people are still playing on Lock and may give some one hope or a false sense of security... If all the people who "knew" they weren't going to get paid but were "hopeful" someday they may get paid would stay away from Lock the site would be a ghost town and it be less likely that unsuspecting players/marks would deposit

I understand this, I was thinking this freeroll was too unreal when I first came across it(It's a 2,725$ prize pool, free entry, 3 nights a week). Then I read about Lock and I get it. What I don't understand is how is the site running still today? It's not the freerolling hopeful 'morons'. If the site is so blatantly a scam or ponzi scheme, as it appears to be, who is keeping it going? It can't be the random new guy that doesn't have a clue about their back story who deposits the minimum once or twice, or are there really enough of those all still choosing Lock over any others?

If I'm missing something clear to anyone just simply state it, don't be an ass about it. I'm trying to understand what makes a poker site well known in the POKER community to be a ponzi scheme or scam keep running? As HooDooKoo so clearly stated, a simple Google search would show Lock's negativity. And, instead of Google searching these answers, I'm CHOOSING to get the answers here. Maybe that is a fault, to trust responses here? Maybe it feels less dumb to somebody to google search and get what they now believe to be an answer instead of just asking in a forum and, oh no, looking foolish?

HooDooKoo, you're a 'CardsChat Elite', and congratulations on your progress, I've seen you post on other threads and here dumb questions deserve dumb answers, that may be true, for you, but you have, in your lifetime, believe it or not, asked what was a dumb question to someone else. Your smart ass answers all over the forum are old and boring. I'm quite impressed, however, that you've been able to put up with such idiots for so long here. I would think telling people all the time how dumb they are would get annoying and actually anger me that I was keeping around so many baboons when I could go elsewhere. Please have your final word but understand that I'm done with you now. My time is better spent playing Lock freerolls.

Online poker sites are relatively cheap after the initial start up cost especially when you don't need a support team other then a couple to help draw in new unsuspecting people, also extremely cheap when you don't have to pay the players their own money and just pocket it.

There are New people depositing on Lock still.. They either don't know how to use google or just blindly feel safe with doing online poker.. The amount of people who stay well informed through forums and other sites are a very small fraction of people who play poker/ online poker so not everyone knows till it's too late...

Full tilt poker only had about 5% (or something small like that) of funds on hand when black Friday hit but had no problems staying afloat

Thank you, S3mper. It's a shame that people don't check into where they put their money but to each their own.

Your point about Full Tilt is sort of where my optimism comes from for Lock. FTP was acquired by Amaya and is still running and is getting players paid back. Obviously Lock was never as big as FTP.

You hit the nail on the head.

Full Tilt Poker was the #2 online poker site in the world only behind PokerStars who Amaya now owns (Poker Stars bought Fulltilt then Amaya bought both from Stars)

That buy out was not generosity it was a part of PokerStars evil plan to own the poker market and be a monopoly.

FullTilt was also more known for the Cash games whereas Stars was more of a tournament site... Now they have both.

Lock has never built a die hard following.

+1 Haha yeah I miss stars. It will be back though.

Lock is slow and old, not to mention the same 5 people are playing the same tourneys day in and day out. Same with cash tables. Lock is not only a bad choice to make a deposit, there's simply no competition, even on weekends. Some of the other, smaller sites have membership shortcomings, but lock is a ghost town. 100%. Cards are pretty soft, though, can't complain about that. Winning hands and cashing out are totally different things, anyways.
