Im glad we are all on the same page lol. It is just hard to know what is going on with all the recent bots and tournament registering bugs.. hard to say exactly what is safe. I like the idea of "you just need to act smarter when taking risks"

That hand within 15 mins after running into set over set - was designed to make me go broke - i could not possibly fold there - its an easy call, i have him drawing very thin, near dead - and boom he hits his 2 outter in 2 cards...Just so unreal.
Ive provided hand evidence and video evidence of "bot" activities and being screwed by their game. They never acknowledged any of my evidence, or the evidence i linked them to from previous forum posts and a youtube video or two of bot activities / compromised software on their site as well. If i play there ever again it will only be from freerolls - i will never deposit another cent on their site again. Shame too, their mobile App was very nice

Now I don't necessarily think it's "rigged" but if you look at the average pot sizes on these tables, you often see pots 30-40% or more of the initial max stack buy in (so like $4 pots in a 10NL game!) which is super juicy of course. So maybe the players are truly just really bad gamblers , I'm going to post an inquiry thread to see if others have actually had success on BOL, because I do think it's just that the players are so bad that the variance is higher.

I have to disagree a little bit, I mean I am a little disappoint with some of the changes they have made, like getting rid of free rolls and messing with the sngs a little too much. And them not having Jackpot freerolls is news to me as well...
How ever that being said I have built the bankroll I am playing with right now from BOL and they free rolls they used to have and the small stakes tournaments they offer, I have not played very much cash at all but that may change with the new daily promo they are offering.

All of the above posts have made me feel a lot better about my game, I was having the exact same problems at BOL but as I'm a relative noob I thought I was probably just getting a bit carried away after a good run. After all bad beats are part of the game, right?

Indeed my friend. You will find the same circus show on every channel.I get so so angry way too often but have managed some successes.when a more honest site comes along they usually get hammered by the bigger suspect sites.but remember these words when you feel cheated or robbed"the best form of revenge is success.and when you know your playing an honest game against cheats hackers and rigged programs by god I tell you it only makes the success that much sweeter.gl at the tables.you can do it!.flathead said:
BetOnline is HORRIBLE!! When every other hand is won on the river you got to know there is a problem. I like Ignition and do play freerolls on America's Cardroom but they only deal in BitCoin right now. ACR will not take CC's for deposits. Luckily I live in PA and won't need to deal with these rigged sites in the near future. PokerStars is coming back to PA!!! Can't wait!

But you’re playing against other players. So why is the RNG rigged only against you? If you’re constantly losing pots on the river because the RNG is rigged against you then someone else is winning that pot. Why is the RNG not rigged against that player? Are you saying that the pots are going to some super users owned by BOL? If not:

I've played on BOL for quite a while and I'm convinced that the patterns I see cannot be coincidence. They are too regular. Deposit and win for a bit (seems to be until you roughly double your stack) then get shafted by successive bad beats.
So yeah, super users owned by BOL are a possibility. Or manipulation of the flop/turn/river by BOL admin.
Maybe you could shaft them back by quitting and cashing out at the right moment, but I'm done with that mob.

I have AA and 3 bet largely preflop, go heads up to the flop to see an Axx board...the two other cards were fairly high but i do not remember exactly what they were at this moment - i would have to dig into my hand history and find out. ..anyway, i flop top set, very strong hand, and i was the aggressor preflop so i lead out for about 60% pot or so....i get raised...so i reraise...the player shoves and i snap call - he shows 55 which isnt anywhere close to the board and there are no runner runner flush possibilities for them either so anyway, guy 4bet shoves the flop with less than bottom pair....turn is a 5 and river is the case 5... by far probably the worst beat i have taken to date - and the reason i remember that hand so well is its not like he called my flop bet and shoved the turn...the way this hand played out just screams it was all done by design, made especially so the aces guy (me) goes broke. After that hand and runout, i was done.
This was not the first example of runner runner quads to win i had seen, id had plenty of 2 and 1 outters catch me on the river there...way more than any other site for sure. So i quit.
Super user accounts? Yeah, maybe...i am not sure, i dont have any evidence to support such a claim. All i know is the RNG definitely used to promote action and lots of good (even, dare i say, above average) players go bust there way more than other sites.
The good news to all of this is you can find members here who ARE successful over at BOL - i just will not be one of them. For me, their sites gameplay redefines "variance".
Even as a winning player on BOL I can agree with a lot of what is being said about bad beats. I am not on one side or the other so I'll add a little bit to both. A site that is built around a sports book is going to bring in a lower level of player (one of the reason we play there right) so you are going to find yourself in spots that you would not find yourself in with a better poker player. This will cause you more bad beats simply because your opponent doesn't know where the fold button is. HOWEVER, if using proper bankroll management you will win in the long run. Those same fives are not going to win every time against top set and if you are not putting your whole roll on the line it won't hurt as bad when it does happen.
This all being said I have been on the bad end of a lot of turns and rivers after getting my money in way ahead. Even yesterday took a river beat that still makes you want to wonder, but when I go back and look at the hand, I think to myself could I have done something better to have avoided this spot. Its not always about the RNG, sometimes its just about how you are playing.

In terms of bad beats, I have never run worse on any poker site than I have on BetOnline. Players there are horrible, but they constantly suckout with trash over and over again at the worst times when i'm deep in MTTs. It seriously feels like you're just playing against house bots that are there to screw you over and eat your money so you deposit again.
