Players in India can no longer play at PokerStars

I've played on Pokerstars & Fulltilt for over 5 years and I have every right to write this.
This is the worst decision by pokerstars ever. to launch an Indian version of ps.. Im truly devastated with what they did.


Pokerstars BANNED Indian players from playing on their Main site and say They launched a version for Indian players.. which is a nice way to decieve from what they truly did..


WHAT THEY DID IS BANNED INDIAN PLAYERS FROM ALL MAJOR TOURNAMNETS LIKE SUNDAY MILLION & WCOOP & HOT & BIG etc.


And want to ACT like they did a favour to Indian players... by the local ps website where there are small games. in local currency. and will be allowed to play only with other players from India ONLY with small prize pool... No more international gaming.. WTF


Consider me!! I spent 1000s of dollars on pokerstars... and NOW THEY WANT ME TO Play $2 or $5 games with prize pool of $300 ?? Is this a joke?? HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa


And they boast like they did a good thing??? ITS SAD.
They banned INDIANS and still trying to make it look like they did a nice deed by launching a special website.. WHo gives a fuc.?? THEY wont let us play anything BIG like players from other countries.


Even if they launch a local version, if they let us play in Sunday Million or other tourneys with Local currency, its OK. BUT THEY JUST BANNEDDDDDDDD.


AND ACT LIKE THEY LAUNCHED A NEW SITE? HAaa


Hope they rectify their mistake or hope they go bankrupt with this decision they made... WITH ALL MY HEART & SOUL.

Now Indians cant play on pokerstars client. And cant play SUNDAY MILLION or any games they usually play..
They cant even compete internationally. Just have to play within themselves..

I dont think is PS decision Man .If they can.they probably allowed aliens to play,not just us from Earth 😀

Indeed, I don't think PS is happy about this either;
They also lose with this, cause all the Indians who play highroll on PS, can't and won't do that now> So they lose that rake.
 
You need to check the regulations of your country, maybe that is the reason for they do that....

i think you quote the wrong post, but i guess Indian players cant play on CC freerolls anymore (theres no Indian flag on todays game)

That's terrible man. I don't think you're getting a lot of love from these folks because American's haven't been able to play on there since 2009, lol. It literally wrecked many lives. I feel for you bud. You seem intelligent and I hope you figure something out, good luck friend.
 
Welcome to how we feel from the USA , but we got even a smaller site play money poker stars , try making a profit on there seems like it takes a lifetime lol

They do this exactly a week before Sunday million 10 million game. 🙁

I think i'm missing something about all of this.. because a fee years ago they launched that for Romania also, i belive the reason for it was because the laws from Romania or they just wanted a website and platform with .ro.
But the rest about not being able to play i guess it's the gouvernment decision, for me nothing chamged i can still play everything so.. blame your country not the site.

Pokerstars blocked americans in 2009. Ok!! But if they block Indians its fine as well.

Did they OPEN a New website for American Players ONLY in 2009?? Where only americans can play small real money games.... I DONT THINK SO. So yeaa. Speak with some sense.

Atleast for US players, they didnt scam and try to sell their Players to some local firm..

In India, They sold their players to a local website which uses the PS name.

Thats decieving... Its not even Pokerstars anymore as we cant play any actual games..

its a different website with that name...

In US, the players werent scammed. In India, they are... Its sad, No one writes about this any article...
 
1. PokerStars was forced to do this due to regulations in your country - you are mad at the wrong people.

2. The situation in the US is far worse than your situation. Again it is not PokerStars' fault at all - they hate it as much as we do.

3. At least you can play at PokerStars - only people in a few states in the US have that luxury - most of us can not play at all.

4. Unless other sites are doing the same - you still have way better options than we do in the US.

It is very silly to get angry at PokerStars and accuse them of a scam when this is what your country's government forced them to do.

PokerStars would love nothing more than to be able to let everyone in the world play on their main site - this change will cost them loads of money.

Also - please do not create thread titles in all caps - and don't post in all caps.

We all feel your pain.
As Dakota said it will be Indian government that banned pokerstars from continuing.

It is very sad how so many governments (OR The Voters that enable them) are ruining a great internationally bonding game.

There are many countries that have been cut off including USA, Australia, France, Spain and India, because of their own countries laws.

So I should be pleased that the UK government didn't cut us off, we just have to pay more rake than any other players we are playing against, so that pokerstars can pay the extra tax to our unelected scumbags. (we can't elect our head of state or upper house and the lower house had to form a coalition with incentives to another party to form a government because they didn't get enough of their own elected). Democracy in action. LOL. Is this the free world?

Perhaps the new head of the Common Wealth can intervene and require that all 53 common wealth countries can at least play poker together on an even basis.
