Just wanted to play a MTT at PokerStars and once again there are "connection problems".

How can it be that they just can't get it fixed?

At Facebook, YouTube and Co. there were e.g. also once server problems that had caused great unrest but then they had it firmly under control.

At PokerStars it happens again and again, currently it is as bad as almost a year ago where they were also repeatedly exposed to hacker attacks.

They don't even provide transparent explanations to the outside world, and I don't think there was any real compensation.
In the long run, they are slowly but surely ruining their reputation when they are more and more shaky as a renowned provider.

GGPoker has already overtaken them in terms of player volume. They can't afford to piss off their customers like this.

What do you think about it?

Am I the only one who's starting to get a little carried away?

I was about to go to PS but didn't come in and wondered if it was my laptop or if they were having problems again. But now I know it was Andyreas who had cast a spell on PS

I only started playing again a few months ago but indeed I am unhappy with the current performance.

I checked out GG indeed, but not because of the recent events but I cannot complete the verification process. They don't tell me what's the problem and I stopped after 3 or so tries.

I think that's the worst answer they can gave, so once again, they could not fix their problem in an appropriate time. It's almost like they are saying: we are to weak to being a proper poker site. Very disappointing.

Luckily I got my playing done earlier in the day, so I am not affected by this. I can also highly recommend to have a second "favourite poker site" for situations like this, rather than stress and get upset about, when a site will be up and running again

The previous incidence was a DDOS attack. So its a bit like asking, how Gazprom can manage to have the Nordstream1 and Nordstream2 gas pines blown up. Or how 7/11 can manage to be hacked, so that all their credit card terminals are unuseable for days (happened in Denmark recently)

Yesterday I was trying to send some stadistics from PS to my email , and then a windows appeared, asking to me about another email and one code they will send to me there to be able to validate my email adress with PS. I have never seen that before.
Then I write my new email adress there, trying to validate it with one code they sent to my new email account. I try to recover my old email adress to work with PS but I couldn´t did it. I think it could be one hacker attack. Of course I have changed the pw of my emails accounts, but anyway Im not calm with it.

I tried to log in this morning and it only stays connected to the lobby. I assumed something like this happened, but it's been a couple of hours. The problem still can't enter. That's why I'm here in the chat.
