From memory Fulltilt went bust and din't seem to payout players funds. Pokertsras bought them and honoured the debts.
IIRC Fulltilt didn't go bust as such, iirc the owners withdrew a lot of the players funds and used them as their own money, so if every player had withdrawn, Fulltilt wouldn't have been able to pay out, so the regulators pulled the plug. So they only sort of went bust. The bit about Pokerstars taking them over and honouring Fulltilt payouts is iirc correct.

I have read lot's of reviews from people already using the Fandule poker software, thanks but no thanks:ROFLMAO:
Always believing what other people tell you is naive and just stupidly silly. You know just maybe/likely they're selling you a bit of bullshit because they can see there's easier money there and wanna talk/keep the better players out and from playing. That's what I would do if I really cared about and was in it for just the money. For me it's more about the challenge and competition. Keeping good players out is just another +EV decision and a great one.

Cheers!!!

Might not matter to much, because its not ok either way, but I think, it was more a case of Full Tilt using players deposits to invest in the business rather than owners "withdrawing a lot of money". And then, what happened, was essentially like a run on a bank. Banks lend out money, which other people have deposited, so if every single depositor wants their money back at the same time, because there are rumours about the bank going down, then these rumours will become a self-fulfilling prophecy, even if the bank is perhaps profitable.

Or they are exaggerating, because the software is not as good as that of PokerStars, or because they just dont like change, or because they are affiliated with competing sites. Many possible reasons why you should not rely only on online reviews, especially when its both cheap and simply to find out for yourself. Its not like, we are talking about booking a $4.000 vacation or buying a new car for $40.000, where if you make the wrong choise, its kind of a bummer.

Agree with all this and to be honest it's 90% of the human race LOATHES anything that changes whether the change is good or not. People just don't like change.....hell I don't like change :ROFLMAO: but I'd never take anyone's word on changes 100%. I'd still go find out for myself as it's the +EV move.

Cheers!!!

Those were the glory days. Now there are fewer and fewer players, fewer and fewer regions and countries on PokerStars.
The glory days of on-line poker are long gone.
