So u suggest their rng favours beginners? That would not be a legit place then in my book.Bitmaniac said:I really like stake algorithm. Very beginner friendly
Recently they changed a bit it's possible to cascade or arrange four table's on one screen and on the verification issue I support you they need to changeSunz of Beaches said:So u suggest their rng favours beginners? That would not be a legit place then in my book.
On topic: I can not recommend stake. My .com account got closed and i was moved to a national skin but there i cant verify because they only accept documents of nationals which is outright discrimination. Of course they only made me aware of that after i already sent the docs so now i also need to hope i dont get scammed in some way.
Yes its soft but software is absolutely terrible and u cant really grind there. Everything more than 1 table is uncomfortable because its a web based site with only 1 main screen. Tables pop up back and forth through that 1 screen when multitabling, like on mobile on other sites. Its a very uncomfortable site to mix with other sites.
In the end its a 2 out of 6 stars at max and noone really needs them. Customer support seems pretty clueless in my experience.
To be honest I think, we can say that about a lot of small sites. Volume seem to be concentrated more and more on a handfull of sites with GG Poker and PokerStars being the two main ones. And while its good to have alternatives and competition, a certain minimum of activity is needed for a site to have good game selection and ressources for things like customer service, software development and security. So maybe its fine, if some of the small sites stop operating including this one.Sunz of Beaches said:In the end its a 2 out of 6 stars at max and noone really needs them. Yeah agree but Stake is a bit different. They are the largest crypto casino and I think they dont care about poker too much. Its under their casino games just like a slot game but when u open it a poker lobby opens.fundiver199 said:To be honest I think, we can say that about a lot of small sites. Its definitely part of the picture, that poker is just a sideshow for many sites, and most of their income is derived from casino games and/or sportsbetting. This is actually good in the sense, that it can finance customer support and software development, which can then also benefit poker players. But even so if there are very few tournaments or cash tables running, and no or little action above microstakes, there is not much reason to play on the site. At least not for anyone, who is serious about poker.Sunz of Beaches said:Yeah agree but Stake is a bit different. They are the largest crypto casino and I think they dont care about poker too much. Yes it's definitely soft. This already has been said. But soft is not everything and they are far far, very far from an excellent choice. Lol.aorodrigo said:Stake poker is an excellent choice. Most of stake poker players are gamblers, not poker players. Full of fish.
It's a shame it's not available in Brazil

Support there at max can tell u where certain games are and if ur account is open or not. They answer quick and friendly but that doesnt matter because they are utterly clueless, especially about poker.
When "stake poker" as a game tab was not available first on their new national platform they put me on, they recommended to me to play those poker games where u play against the dealer/house. Told them im not interested and i want to play against other players. Then they answered me "U play there against other players!"
That was one of the dumbest answer i ever got from any support. Guy who answered didnt even knew what im talking about when i mentioned "stake poker"😅
