A long time ago, I did a challenge on Unibet to reach €1,000 without depositing any money. I played freerolls every day for many hours and managed to reach my goal in just one month.

I was pretty happy with the result until I tried to withdraw the money. They told me that my country wasn't allowed. 😂

It was a nice experience anyway, haha.

Has anyone here done a similar challenge, starting with freerolls and trying to build up to a specific amount?

This could be a manual on how to completely waste your time.

But i have experience with this too. When i moved countrys they let me play and when i decided to contact them after a few months to ask if i need to send in my docs they told me nope and we dont serve your new location anyway. I dont remember exactly but i think they even wanted to confiscate my money and only after i threatened to post this everywhere they let me cash out and directly closed my account.

So they let people, or at least some people, login and play from an unavailable location untill they want to cashout and/or verify. Very unprofessional and shady move that i dont expect from a serious site.

Haha, unfortunately I can relate to that. When I found out I couldn't withdraw, I just played the money on the cash tables and managed to lose it all. 😂

At least you managed to get your money out. The whole situation does sound pretty frustrating, especially when they let you play for months and only bring up the location issue when you try to cash out.

Wow ok so they even let u continue to play and donk off after telling u that u wont be able to cash out lol. Sounds very professional.

Yes, I took on a similar challenge, and I succeeded and withdrew the funds quite normally.

I have this unique challenge at every room - I haven't made a deposit anywhere, only withdrawals 🤪

I thought most sites require you to deposit before you can withdraw.

As others have said, this is a good illustration of, why its best to get your account verified before spending significant time or depositing significant money.

99% of the time, I use third-party exchangers/transfers to players within the room. The only fully legal withdrawal method I have is in our Ukrainian room, because it's too "legitimate and licensed".

that’s a crazy grind 😂 turning freerolls into €1,000 is impressive, but finding out you can’t withdraw would hurt.

Yeah, it was definitely a crazy grind 😂 At the beginning we played freerolls, and once we won 2 or 3, we started playing $1 tournaments. If we won some there, we moved up to $2, and kept moving up step by step until we reached the €1,000 challenge.

It takes time and a lot of patience, but that’s the whole point of the grind. You don’t need to rush it—you build the bankroll gradually.

Whatever happens now, just accept it. You’ve already come this far, so no point stressing over what’s next.

Looks like you cant play there legally from Lebanon (?) anyway so their refusal is probably justified..

Also Unibet dont have that many freerolls nowadays but in the most daily ones you dont actually need to play them since in most cases registering to them is enough because sit out "strategy" usually still gives you tournament ticket although it's just 0.04 one but assuming you then turn into it 0.40 one then 2.- then 10.- then 50.- and then manage to hit 250€ MTT ticket then in the latter tournament it's probably indeed possible to reach 1000€ goal (or whatever you may have) - although years ago when i had secured that ticket in such way ^ i probably only collected one bounty there so my eventual result in such tournament is probably nowhere near to as one cardchatter who once managed to finish third in such MTT and he even managed to achieve it not once but twice in consecutive months therefore it's probably shame that i dont remember anymore who this person was..
