Using VPN´s for playing online poker is prohibited by all pokerrooms that I know.

Most rooms have KYC programs that kick in before you even start to play (document verification, passport verification and so on) that will also check if you are playing from a prohibited location.

This can lead to losing your winning/deposits.

This is not what you want.

I see... thanks for the advice, and have a good day.

Is it possible to drive 60 mph in a 30 mph zone after downing a whole bottle of Vodka? Sure. But dont complain, if the police stop you, and you go to jail or lose your car.

today there are plenty of rooms to choose from to play, that you don't need to use VPN to risk yourself

All that just for using a damn VPN!! 🤣 Aren't they going a bit overboard? Or is it you?

Yes, you can use a VPN, but most poker rooms don’t allow it.....

I personally wouldn’t take the risk, as using a VPN could potentially violate their terms and result in your account being restricted or banned.....

No, he's saying it's not worth the risk.

I understood...I was just joking😅. I'll keep that in mind. I'll avoid VPN then...
Thank you guys

In most cases, the use of a VPN is prohibited. However, to be certain, you should contact the support team of the specific site with your question.

This idea carries a huge risk. One day, the poker room will be officially approved in your country, but those who took the risk will be unable to play. Time flies like water.

Of course they dont allow it. The whole point of a VPN is to pretend, you are somewhere else, than where you actually are. And if a poker site has a list of excluded territories, this mean, they dont want players from there to sign up and play. For instance I live in Sweden, and if I open the WPT Global homepage from a swedish IP-adress, a message pop up telling me, they are not offering their services in my region. So I am not allowed to download the software or sign up.

OP however live in Algeria, which is not on the list of excluded territories for WPT Global, so he can actually play there, which apparently he does. And since he has at least one site (there might be more), that is willing to let him play, there is no reason to try to cheat sites, that dont want to let him play. This will usually only result in problems down the road like a confiscated balance and a closed account.

The only situation, where a site might be ok with the use of a VPN, is if they accept players from a certain country, but the internet providers of that country block access to international gambling sites. But even then you need to ask yourself, if its really worth it. Withdrawals and deposits will likely be complicated, and you might face problems with the law as well, since clearly your government do not want you to play on those sites.

Possible: Most of the time yes but you're risking getting your account banned and balance frozen.
How strict it is depends on the site. Varies widely.
