I think everything is fine there, I play there and played in a tournament in which I could take more than 20 dollars, but because of greed I lost and took 10 dollars, despite the fact that I never made a deposit there, but I managed to win in many freerolls and with free spin and go tickets I don't think there is anything wrong

I understand your point of view. But 888Poker has had a huge name in the poker business for years! Remember that we are talking about a house with representation on the stock market. I've been playing in the house for a few years now and I get along great with it and my ROI is spinning excellently on micro MTTs up to $5. I can't see the difference in bads on other sites, I think the frequency is the same. Then I'll analyze it carefully in HM3 to see if I can find something.

I played here for the last 2-3 years. Mostly loosing because i like those blast sng. A lot of variance, little skill etc.
This weekend a question was on my mind.
What the hell is with the rng on 888, every f***ing time it goes bad. For over 3 years i felt that something is wrong but i didnt care too much because i thought it was variance.
I know how poker works and what variance means. But here is different. And im not a "poker is rigged guy".
So i searched on google for more info about them and found on trustpilot more than 400 negative reviews with ppl complaining with the humongous amount of bad beats on 888 compared with others.
Now you can say: All of them are fishes, complaining blabla. Not interested in this tho.
Whats the purpose of this thread?
Well im trying to find ppl that are actually winners on 888 over the long run and tell me if they feel the bad beats more in 888 compared with other sites. Not in blast, because i dont think they are beatable, but in sng/cash or maybe mtts. If you can share some graphs/roi/winnings would be nice. But only over a considerable amount of hands/tournaments.
And another one: Would the structure of blasts(hyper sng) could distort the perception of bad beats? As you could think more bad beats come your way because of the fast playing?
Thanks!

I don't even think they are bad beats, I think their rng favors passive players

Very low quality post my friend. Im sure u can do better!

The rng favors noone. The cards come as they come and if you missplay ur hands or if you are in hands and spots u should not be you will for sure lose a lot of pots.

Its called poker, even if you play good you can run very very bad over a small and sometimes even over a bigger samplesize.

Not exactly shitty software on the old client, the ability to use the HUD is quite good. For beginners, there are a huge number of freerolls.:D

For me, 888 is the best poker site for beginners. for those who are trying to learn how to play poker like Negriano // there are a lot of freerolls, a lot of interesting promotions and tournaments// I recommend it to everyone - except for professionals, let them play at pokerstars - let everyone decide for themselves. where he spends his money. Moving is everywhere. it all depends on your level of play and patience in the long run.:deal:

I agree with you. I played freerolls every day and did not earn bad money until it was closed with us:rolleyes:

No dude, I don't have much more to say about the 888 I play the same way I play on other sites, the players there are weaker, passive and calling staions and I still win in other rooms and there almost never.

that's all, of course about rng I'm being ironic (making a joke) I'm not sure about anything so much that I mentioned I "think" in the previous post. But the least I can do is make a joke. to the next!:)

Oh jeez, I probably can't give a qualified opinion because I only used the no deposit bonus, but I was convinced not to stay right away. The option to show folded cards makes it obvious that the site is for action/fun only and the 'tournaments' I freerolled into with the no-depositor bonus, oh my... 1min blind levels meant there was sometimes one hand over 2 blind increments and half the table was all-in every other turn. And me too, because waiting even 2-3 hands would mean being put all-in just by the ante next. Like spinning a roulette wheel over and over... I can't imagine it's much better if you made a deposit tho, because players who get lured into depositing or staying by this kinda experience can't be fun to play with...

And I think that should answer your question about the bad beats too: if it is impossible to wait for premium hands and are basically forced to shove any two, of course there will be more bad beats, since there are way more instances of players shoving weak hands. You still got 13% equity with 52o vs. AA preflop and if you get 4 bullshit-handed callers with your AA, you will only win the pot about 60% of times...

They are a bunch of crooks at 888poker.... in sttings you can't shut off rebuy button if it was already initiated prior to a tournament. Would not refund my unwanted, uninteded rebuys and during process lied to me often, until I asked them to put down in email what they were telling me. Though they said they would email me, they wouldn't, until they finally gave me the real correct answer. I caught them in so many lies it was ridiculous. Warning, record all conversations, get all answers in writing, and don't trust anything they say!

For me, 888poker is a good site, a lot of freerolls and a beautiful design, there were some problems with reloading, but that doesn't count.

Hi.
888 is my favorite site. In recent years, my bankroll on this site is only growing. I think your problem is not in the site but in your skills and experience.
Good luck.
I absolutely agree, for the last year I have been playing mainly there precisely because there are many players like our hero.:)
