That might be but in the UK, where this merger is happening, they are letting the Betfair client continue not the PokerStars one. So from the perspective of players PokerStars has essentially "moved to Betfair", even though the software and player pool is the same.G0930 said:Betfair moved to Pokerstars... as if Betfair could afford Stars.
Flutter Entertainment which owns Stars bought Betfair
right that makes sense. I used to have a betfair account but I guess they closed Betfair in Austria.fundiver199 said:That might be but in the UK, where this merger is happening, they are letting the Betfair client continue not the PokerStars one. As I understand it, a lot of online casinos have left Austria, because your courts have ruled, that contracts between a player and a gambling site other than your state owned monopoly are null and void. And this allow people to sue the sites for, whatever amount they lost. Its basically a freeroll, where a player in Austria can make some big deposits and try to gamble it up. If they get lucky, they withdraw their winnings, and if not they sue the site to reclaim their losses.G0930 said:right that makes sense.
