Since poker stars has moved to Betfair I can't get Poker tracker 4 to work.

Has anyone got any information how i can get poker 4 to work on that site

Many thanks

You need to upgrade to the latest version of PT4, old versions dont work. Also need to change your settings in PS to make sure hand histories saved.

Betfair moved to Pokerstars... as if Betfair could afford Stars.
Flutter Entertainment which owns Stars bought Betfair

That might be but in the UK, where this merger is happening, they are letting the Betfair client continue not the PokerStars one. So from the perspective of players PokerStars has essentially "moved to Betfair", even though the software and player pool is the same.

right that makes sense. I used to have a betfair account but I guess they closed Betfair in Austria.
You can do the same sport bets at Stars after all

There is a description how to set it up correctly in the PokerTracker 4 Forums.
Just google Pokertracker4 + PokerStars on Betfair und you will get the right answer.

Or just look here and follow the link.

I don't use PT4 myself, but a tracker only ever sees hand history files, so I'd first check whether the client writes them at all after a move like this. Find the new hand history folder on disk, confirm hands show up there after a session, and make sure the tracker's auto-import points at that exact path. If the files exist but PT4 skips them, the format changed and that's a question for their support.

As I understand it, a lot of online casinos have left Austria, because your courts have ruled, that contracts between a player and a gambling site other than your state owned monopoly are null and void. And this allow people to sue the sites for, whatever amount they lost. Its basically a freeroll, where a player in Austria can make some big deposits and try to gamble it up. If they get lucky, they withdraw their winnings, and if not they sue the site to reclaim their losses.

Its actually a bit of a mystery, why poker sites like GG Poker and PokerStars have not left as well. But this might only be a matter of time, since they are now also facing lawsuits from punters, who lost large amounts of money. There is a guy on 2+2, who claim he played 2 million hands at 100NL-500NL and lost $400k, which he is now sueing GG Poker to get back.
