i just about broke even with all the undercard bets i made.

but i was waiting to see what excuse you can possibly give for connor running away in the cage. what a pussy.

i hope the 3rd fight doesn't happen so i never have to watch this overrated piece of irish trash pussy running away **** ever fight again.

I could care less if Connor was even 1/2 as good as you think he is.... I'd want him to lose vs. everyone he fights against. He's a goof. Not hard to see why you like him though.

Maia in the main event because jiujitsu. Condit doesn't have elite takedown defense and he regularly finishes his striking combos off balance and showing his back. You can get away with that against a guy like Lawler who you know just wants to keep the fight standing. And he may be good off his back but he's not just fighting any ordinary BJJ black belt this time, he's fighting Demian f&*king Maia.

It's possible he connects and knocks out Maia before he gets strangled, but for my money that's the least likely outcome.

I can't for the life of me understand why Condit agreed to this fight either. It's a horrible style matchup and I don't think it necessarily gets him any closer to a title shot. All I can think of is he's literally just looking for a payday where he's not likely to take too much damage. He's talked before about the amount of damage he's taken over the years and what that's likely to mean for his life after fighting, and Maia will make you look bad on the ground, but he's probably not going to damage you much with strikes.

I haven't had time to look too deeply into the rest of the card but there's a few things that stand out:

- Anthony Pettis is a pretty big favourite over Charles Olivera and... why?!? I don't know if I'm going to bet Olivera yet, but I sure as hell wouldn't want money on Pettis as a favourite after his past few performances.

- If Paige doesn't beat Bec Rawlings then the UFC is doing matchmaking wrong.

Sorry but this is just stupid.

If he was scared he wouldn't stop running. But he did stop, and then re-engaged once he'd changed the position. This wasn't Anderson Silva in the fifth round against Demian Maia or anything.

And all that aside, it's the other guy's job to cut off the cage. McGregor was only able to jog out and reset because Diaz let him do it.

Has Maia ever actually been stopped? To the best of my memory I don't think he has. And he's been in with a lot of dangerous guys.

Although half the welterweight/middleweight roster has been in with Nate Marquardt so I guess it must be true!! And Marquardt was a killer back then.

Will have a look on ufc.tv for that fight.

Maybe because of the fact that coming from a 2-4 record on his last 6 fights, he doesn't have leverage to negotiate with the UFC. Dana told him to fight Maia, he has to.

Anderson Silva could have ended him. if I remember correctly. But Silva was just dancing the whole 5th round.

she was looking good in round 1 landing solid strikes and avoiding most of PVZ's crazy jumping/spinning attacks.
only to get caught right on the chin with a freaking enzuigiri! lol.

Main card so far doing a good job of making up for what was otherwise a pretty lacklustre event.

Miller and Lauzon didn't disappoint but I thought Joe did enough to win.

If it does ever happen, GSP probably destroys him over 5 rounds, even after a three year lay off, but it would be another astronomical payday for Conor.

It would be a huuuuuuge money fight but I 100% dont see this happening in the near future. Although with ufc 206 being in Toronto you could certainly suggest GSP's return for December - seemingly against Woodley. That seems very possible in my eyes, who else would they have headlining a Canadian PPV??
