Tough choice, but I'm going to go with Ramos, Chiellini and Thiago Silva... Hummels is right up there though

Puyol , Maldini ,Canavaro......great defenders and great characters.

Maldini - Nesta - Cannavaro. Perfect Italian defence "Catenaccio"

I’m not quite a fan of football, but like every resident of the country a fan of his team - the national team of Ukraine

This my top
1.Eduard Sobol
2.Nikolay Matvienko
3.Igor Plastun

I can only consider nowadays player, so my top is:
- van Dijk
- Koulibaly
- Hummels🖤💛

Not sure about soccer, how about poker? 🙂
1. Johnny Chan
2. Chris Ferguson
3. Barry Greenstein

Well ... the truth is there are very good defenders ... however I think the top 3 of my list would be ...
1- Franco Bareci: Central defender of Milan and the Italian team
2- Paolo Maldini: Left defender and then Central of Milan and the Italian team
3- Franz Beckenbauer: Central defender for Bayen Miunch and the German team.

Franz Anton Albert Beckenbauer
Giorgio Chiellini
Sergio Ramos García

Yepes, the slowest defender in history. And the people putting Puyol as one of the best defenders of all time is a joke.

Any list of best defenders without Alexander-Arnold or van Dijk is crazy today.

1. vanDijk
2. Ramos
3. Thiago Silva

And i would say Vertonghen too. He can play several positions and still a beast defender.

But my favourite is still Ramos 🙂
