What is the best sports movie?
Would have to be "Eddie the Eagle".

After seeing your cardschat username, this was the first movie that I thought of.

Actually, Eddie (Michael) Edwards was nothing like he was portrayed in the movie. He was in fact, an experienced downhill skier, who just missed out on selection for the previous winter Olympics. According to Michael Edwards (Eddie the Eagle) only about 5% of the movie is true.

I liked the movie Goal, as for me the best football movie🙂

Moneyball - Based on a True story

Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) challenges the system and defies conventional wisdom when his is forced to rebuild his small-market team on a limited budget. Despite opposition from the old guard, the media, fans and their own field manager (Philip Seymour Hoffman), Beane - with the help of a young, number-crunching, Yale-educated economist (Jonah Hill) - develops a roster of misfits...and along the way, forever changes the way the game is played.

My favorite film about sports is "Goal" directed by Danny Cannon. The 2005 film is an amateur footballer who is experiencing success and goes to one of the biggest European benches and begins to live his dream. A beautiful movie with lots of emotions and motivation, that everything can be done from scratch. And we can step up to the top step by step. Any recommendation for this movie, look! Greeting!

It might be too soon to call it the best ever, but Creed is definitely the best sports movie I've seen in a long time.

he has a lot of movies that are really good but my favorite is the hell of Sunday.
Director: Oliver Stone
Actor (s): Cameron Diaz, Al Pacino, James Quaid, James Woods

but I especially like the series Ballers.

The series follows the daily lives of former and current football players in Miami. Including that of a former star Spencer Strasmore. After a great career as a professional footballer, Spencer Strasmore retires but does not cut himself entirely off his passion. Indeed, after being a player, it embarks on the management of careers of the new generation of footballers, but he quickly discovers that in this environment, the competition is just as intense as in the field.

Few movies on my mind...

- Million dollar baby (2004)

- The Fighter (2010)

- Secretariat (2010)

Moneyball was good. Don't forget about The Mighty Ducks and Waterboy!

Taste is subjective and all, but is The Waterboy even the best football movie that Adam Sandler has made, let alone of all time? 😱

Poker - Rounders (obvs)

Sports - Rocky (all of them)

gambling - The Sting

All three in a row for a cracking Sunday eve.

Cool runnings and Invictus are probably my two favourite sporting films. A couple others are decent too.

I loved Moneyball but I think Rocky continues to stay iconic for me as best of all time

The best sports film in my version is The Longest Yard. It’s ready to watch it every time it goes on TV, the only time I’ve left the cinema without thinking about the money spent. motivating film

Gotta be "Hitting the Apex" without a doubt!! Can't go wrong with Brad Pitt's motion movie participation! 8)
