New bet: Texas Rangers at home will beat Detroit Tigers in the 3rd game of the series. Yes, I realize that Detroit will have their best starting pitcher Tarik Skubal (his ERA is “2.23”) in the upcoming game. But he has failed the last 2 games (against Seattle Mariners he got 4 runs in 5 innings and in the All-Star Game he got 2 runs in 1 inning). In addition, the Tigers' current regular season losing streak is already 6 games in a row! So I don't understand why the bookies think Detroit can win so easily against home Texas. By the way, the Rangers have won 10 of their last 15 games against the Tigers (and the current streak is 4 wins). Texas' best starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi (his ERA is “1.58”) will play in the upcoming game. Detroit has only won 1 game out of 8 against this starting pitcher. Bet? Absolutely!

For today I'll go with a bet from Brazil - Serie A , this is the first season I've started to follow this league, live watching games, paying attention to team news etc... so if I make some 'mistakes' in the opinion of members that followed the league for way longer, take it as you will- just a 'fresh' opinion of someone that follows and bets successfully on this sport for 15+ years... my results so far are really good and tbh I enjoy watching the events as I see full stadiums and fans that seem to really love/ support their teams- things I don't see as much in many leagues from Europe...

The French youngster improved a lot, has a good year and especially on serve he impressed everyone as he tops the rankings in this category with the best 1st serve on the Tour, while also having the best win % ... at Wimbledon(a fast surface) he served even 153 mph (246 kph) and he also had that thriller of a match against Fritz(lost in 5 sets on arguably Taylor's, nb4 in the World, best surface), so I expect to see him do well on hard in the future too... his opponent isn't that strong in this 1st round, 29 yo Vukic that has a bad year so far with 13 wins, 23 losses(3 wins, 9 losses on hard)...

Mitch Keller (his ERA is “3.48”) will play as the Pirates' starting pitcher in the upcoming game. His stats are not bad this season, but Mitch Keller has an ERA of “3.89” in home games. Also, Pittsburgh has only won 4 home games out of 12 with Mitch Keller this season. Casey Mize (his ERA is “3.15”) will play as Detroit's starting pitcher. Yes, that's an All-Star Game participant. I like his pitching technique. Yes, it's not Tarik Skubal, but still Casey Mize is very stable. Detroit has won 6 road games out of 9 with Casey Mize this season. This starting pitcher has played 2 games in his career against Pittsburgh and Detroit won both of them. Bet? Sure!

Last bet lost. It's hard to understand why Detroit's defense played like Colorado Rockies defense. It's hard to understand why Casey Mize played like a scared rookie pitcher (in his first season). But this is my 4th straight losing bet and I'm certainly upset. But, I'm sure the current MLB betting season can still be made a successful one! New bet: Boston Red Sox on the road will beat Philadelphia Phillies in the 3rd game of the series. No sweep in the series between these teams over the last 10 years. Philadelphia had 2 very strong starting pitchers in the first 2 games of the current series, Zach Wheeler (his ERA is “2.39”) and Cristopher Sanchez (his ERA is “2.40”). But in the 3rd game of the series will play very unstable Jesus Luzardo (his ERA is “4.29”) as Philadelphia's starting pitcher. He had a very quality start of the current season (in April his ERA was “1.44”), but then it became obvious that the carriage turned into a pumpkin (in May his ERA was “5.56”, in June his ERA was “5.40” and in July his ERA is “5.93”). Also, Jesus Luzardo is playing worse in home games (his ERA is “4.80”) than on the road (his ERA is "3.79"). Lucas Giolito (his ERA is “3.59”) will play as Boston's starting pitcher. This pitcher had a very weak start of the season (his ERA was “4.85” in May), but in June and July Lucas Giolito has been incredibly solid. Philadelphia will be without one of their best offensive players, Alec Bohm (27.8% efficiency), while Boston has Alex Bregman returning from an injury (29.1% efficiency). I think the bookies overestimated Philadelphia's chances in the 3rd game of the series and we will see an easy win for Boston for a very tasty odds. Bet? Sure!

A bit disappointed with this one, not that much about the lost bet- we can't win them all, that's the life of all gamblers in general not just for sports betting... but more so because how the match developed: slow start that made Perricard lose the 1st set* 4-6, very good 2nd set with IIRC only 1 point lost with the 1st serve(like I've said in the short analyses- he really serves well, I'm not sure if ATM he's the best server on the ATP Tour, but he'll definitely be in the near future...)* 6-3, unfortunately the deciding set didn't go as I've expected as despite losing just 6 points on serve(Vukic won the only break point he had in the 3rd set), while having 10 return points won- including 4 break points... in the end the older and in theory the player that shouldn't do that well in this spots because of form etc. somehow managed to win* 3-6...

* IMO it's a great honor to be in the Top of any category with Sinner, Zverev, Fritz... Perricard can be a top ATP player- at least at the level Isner was, maybe even Cilic...
