Last bet lost. Gerrit Cole pitched very solidly in the first two innings. It never even crossed my mind that he might fail in this game. But maybe Zach McKinstry’s triple demoralized the Yankees’ starting pitcher, or maybe it was just bad luck. My betting score is MLB 222-206 in favor of successful, NBA 237-243 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 10-18 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 8-12 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Tampa Bay Rays at home will beat Kansas City Royals and score 3 runs or more in the 2nd game of the series. Bobby Witt Jr., Kansas City’s leader, will not play in the upcoming game. It was evident in the 1st game of this series that the Royals have very serious problems on offense (only 4 hits). But Kansas won that game thanks to a superb performance by their starting pitcher, Michael Wacha (who closed out 7 innings). Without a doubt, we’ll see Tampa Bay dominate in the upcoming game, as Kansas will play with the very unstable pitcher Luinder Avila (his ERA is "5.50"). This player has made only 5 starts this season, and he has completely failed in 2 of them. Moreover, Luinder Avila has never pitched more than 5 innings in a single game in his career. Shane McClanahan (his ERA is "3.33") will play as Tampa Bay’s starting pitcher. This is 4th season in his career. He has finished previous seasons very strongly, and his average career ERA is "3.07". Also, Tampa Bay has won all 6 home games (in which they scored 3 runs or more) this season when Shane McClanahan was their starting pitcher (with an impressive ERA of "2.05"). Bet? Sure! 😎😉

Today I have predictions for four World Cup matches. The first two are from Group A: Mexico to beat the Czech Republic and South Korea to beat South Africa. The odds are 1.91 for Mexico and 1.57 for South Korea.

The other matches are from Group C: Morocco to beat Haiti at odds of 1.17, and Brazil to beat Scotland at odds of 1.30. That said, I could definitely see a draw in the Brazil–Scotland match, so I'm a bit less confident about that one.

Last bet lost. That happens in baseball when the underdog is on a hot streak offensively. I remember a lot of games like that, especially with the Colorado Rockies. Tampa Bay looks good and I didn't see any serious problems with that team. It's just that Kansas City played its best game offensively. My betting score is MLB 222-207 in favor of successful, NBA 237-243 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 10-18 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 8-12 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Tampa Bay Rays at home will beat Kansas City Royals and score 3 runs or more in the 3rd game of the series. I don’t think Kansas City will be able to play as well as they did in the previous game. I’ve seen a lot of MLB series, and this is one where Kansas City won’t win, and Tampa Bay will confidently take the 3rd and 4th games of this series. This time, I’m trusting my experience (just as I did in the recent series between Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets), which won’t let me down. Bet? Absolutely! 😎😉

Texas Rangers @ Toronto Blue Jays: Toronto Blue Jays (to win) /// 1.66

Last bet won. Yes, Tampa Bay not only won the 3rd game of the series (which we bet on), but also the 4th game of the series (there was an early game today, and the Rays destroyed Kansas City 13-2). In the end, the Royals were unable to win this series despite winning the first two games. This is exactly what I wrote about earlier. My betting score is MLB 223-207 in favor of successful, NBA 237-243 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 10-18 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 8-12 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Toronto Blue Jays at home will beat Texas Rangers in the 1st game of the series. Kevin Gausman (his ERA is “4.04”) will play as Toronto’s starting pitcher. This starting pitcher has a strong track record against Texas (his ERA is “3.20” in his last 15 games). The Blue Jays have beaten the Rangers 9 times in their last 10 games when Kevin Gausman was their starting pitcher. MacKenzie Gore (his ERA is “4.07”) will play as Texas’s starting pitcher. This starting pitcher has failed in his last two starts against Toronto, allowing 15 hits and 5 runs combined over 8 innings. Bet? Absolutely! 😎😉

Not a good performance from Ivory Coast, I would even say it was the worst game they had so far at this World Cup (tbh I was very surprised about the low effort the players showed in the match - I rarely have any sport event that's tough to watch and this was one I constantly switch from* luckily, at the same time, Ecuador vs. Germany was an entertaining match; PS. the bet/stake I have on the event never influences this...); they did win 2-0 in the end so the bet was 'green' 👍😎 , still - IMO this team won't go past the next round (I think they'll play Norway in the 1/16-finals).

For today, I'll go for another bet from the World Cup where I see big difference of value between the 2 teams and the big favorite needs to take the game seriously and (hopefully) get an easy W:

Last bet lost. It was a decent game for Toronto, but Texas played really well in the 3rd inning, scoring 5 runs. Unfortunately, Toronto was literally 1 run short of making a comeback. New bet: Detroit Tigers at home will beat Houston Astros in the 2nd game of the series. Yes, I didn’t have time to post my prediction in time today because of the large number of poker tournaments. So I’d like to briefly mention the significant imbalance in the quality of the starting pitchers and the fact that the Astros have been playing very inconsistently this season. Detroit, while far from perfect, has managed to stabilize their play at home and is unlikely to lose a 4th straight game. Bet? Absolutely! 😎😉

Yes, it’s a real shame that the Detroit prediction came so late and I didn’t have time to write down (today either, for that matter 🤣) enough reasons why the Tigers were expected to win. New bet: in the 2nd game of the series between San Francisco Giants and Atlanta Braves, San Francisco’s starting pitcher Logan Webb will get 2 runs or less. Today’s game will start in more than 3 hours, so we have some time to talk a little about it. So, Logan Webb (his ERA is “3.35”) will play as San Francisco’s starting pitcher. He’s definitely an All-Star level player! Logan Webb is in incredible shape right now. His ERA in June is an incredible “0.87”! Logan Webb’s current successful streak now stands at 5 games (and he allowed 2 runs in only one of those games, while in the rest he got 1 or 0 runs). Logan Webb has pitched in 9 games against Atlanta in his career, and he has allowed 2 runs or fewer in 7 of them. Given the Braves’ recent downturn and the injury of key offensive player Ronald Acuna Jr., I think this bet is playable. Bet? Sure! 😎😉

The World Cup Playoffs start today and Wimbledon will start tomorrow (if you remember, this is the Grand Slam I like the Over 3.5 Sets bet the most as 1 break is usually enough to decide 1 set on grass and nowadays we don't have many tennis players that can keep a very high level of play for 3 straight sets* not even Sinner and Alcaraz), so lots of events to watch and bet on...

South Africa - Canada 2@ 1.78 on 888

The match will be played in Inglewood, California, SoFi Stadium and IMO one of the 4 co-hosts of this World Cup is big favorite to get the W in regular time (I see something like 1-0, 2-0 win for the Canucks), at great odds offered by the bookmakers * even without any other offer/odds boost, IMO this looks like a good value bet...

Last bet won. Yeah, that was some easy money. Logan Webb? He was cooking! That starting pitcher didn't even give us a reason to worry, allowing just 1 hit and 0 runs over 7 innings. New bet: Boston Red Sox at home will beat New York Yankees in the 4th game of the series. To be honest, I really like both of these teams. But this is going to be a sweep! Yes, Boston has finally found the confidence it’s been missing for many games and won the first three home games of this series. And the Red Sox dominated in each of those games. The Yankees have a lot of injured players, and it’s unlikely we’ll see any change in New York’s play. Bet? Absolutely!

Canada won in the added time - one of the last attacks of the match - pretty 'crazy' that South Africa somehow kept a clean sheet for so long, especially in the 1st half the Canucks had like 3-4 insane chances to score (IMO a clear penalty kick too that the referee didn't even want to check with VAR * at the end of the half everyone, including Canada's coach seemed to want to fight the referee and not just to protest/ask about this 'weird' decision 😆); anyway - it was a well deserved win, FT 0-1 👍😎

A bet from the World Cup for today too, I did go for a few Over 3.5 and it went really well - all 'green' and yes, I didn't go for Sinner's match even tho I've posted that even for him and Alcaraz is tough to win in straight sets on grass (or at least the odds offered for 3-0 are always way too low) * he barely won 3-2 vs. Kecmanovic... this bet is for many reasons my favorite one after betting on tennis for 10+ years and I've said many times here how to pick 'good' events for it, even if I don't post a specific match - I always like to promote this pick, I won't go as far as to say that Over 3.5 Sets (on Wimbledon) is a print money machine, but it's a very good choice for most events you think any player can win...

Eduardo Rodriguez (his ERA is “2.27”) will play as the Diamondbacks’ starting pitcher. Eduardo Rodriguez is having an incredible season and is undoubtedly one of the best starting pitchers in the entire League right now! Arizona has won 12 out of 16 games this regular season when Eduardo Rodriguez has been their starting pitcher. The Diamondbacks have also won 5 out of 6 games against San Francisco with him in the lineup. Bet? Sure! 😎😉

Before the tournament started - I've said on this forum that Germany doesn't deserve to be in the Top 5 favorites to win the trophy (the other team I've mentioned was England - a team that didn't win any important trophy for like 60 years), this changed a bit after the first 2 rounds, even tho the opponents was not elite National teams, still what happened yesterday was insane... somehow, I've managed to lose 2 live bets on this match too 😕 that's sports betting and nowadays there's no 'safe' bet!

I did go for Norway to qualify @ 1.55 for today (vs. Ivory Coast), the match starts very soon * we had a thunderstorm today in my area and didn't have internet/electricity for most of the day... maybe you can get an even better odds live... GLGL all with your bets 💲💰💸

This is my 4th winning bet in a row, and it looks like I’ve found the same rhythm in MLB betting that I had in previous seasons. New bet: in the 2nd game of the series between Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles, Chicago’s starting pitcher Erick Fedde will allow 3 runs or less. The game starts in just under 1 hour, so I’ll focus only on the most important aspects of the pre-game analysis. Erick Fedde has never allowed more than 3 runs per game in his career against Baltimore. He has pitched in 6 games against the Orioles with an incredible ERA of "1.56". Erick Fedde has allowed 4 runs or more in only 3 of his 16 starts this season. Moreover, he pitched incredibly well in June with an impressive ERA of “1.69”. I think this should be very easy money. I’ve mentioned before that the Phillies have an incredible winning percentage this season with this starting pitcher. So far, Philadelphia has won 10 out of 12 such games. Paul Skenes (his ERA is “3.10”) will play as Pittsburgh’s starting pitcher. Yes, he’s a superstar, but he’s going through a very serious slump right now. The Pirates’ current losing streak in the regular season is 8 games with this starting pitcher. Bet? Sure! 😎😉
