Yes, the tough series against Oklahoma City may have affected the first two home games. But we saw stretches in the 1st and 2nd games of the series where the Spurs dominated. And I’m expecting Victor Wembanyama will play better on offense. Bet? Absolutely!

But this time we won at some really juicy odds! New bet: Arizona Diamondbacks on the road will not lose to Miami Marlins by more than 2 runs in the 1st game of the series, and the overall total will be 6 runs or more. Arizona has not lost by more than 2 runs in their last 11 games against Miami. Moreover, the Diamondbacks’ current winning streak in away games against the Marlins is 7 games. Also, there were 8 runs or more scored in the last 8 games between these teams. I think we’ll see the same scenario that we saw in previous series between these teams. Bet? Absolutely!

* for the past few seasons, I've become a fan of the Liga Portugal and overall of the Portugal National team- lots of talent and (IMO) things are done the right way at all levels (especially Portugal U21 is managed very well), including the way they treat CR7- a legend of the sport and someone that always left everything on the pitch for Portugal (I've mentioned this as many people talked about moving away from him and some other legends- like Messi, Neymar... this players deserve a lot more respect and earn the right to retire from their international team when they want...); back on-topic, this will be the last warm-up game for Portugal before WC2026 and they are one of the favorites to win the trophy, the players from PSG(Vitinha, Joao Neves, Mendes*IMO players at the top of the list for their positions in the World) should play and like we've seen in most friendlies, both teams most likely will use 1 team for each half and I expect an easy W for the hosts here against a team that unexpectedly missed the qualification for the World Cup... // the match will be played in Leiria and the referee will be from Spain, IMO this are also big advantages for Portugal...

This was such a good tip I was a chicken and didn't take it pre-match, but like I've said in a previous post, if I'll bet on the NBA Finals- I'll only bet on the Spurs... I did get an @ 1.55 live in the 4th Q when the score was 96-91 for Wemby&Co. with like 9 mins left, but the Knicks already had 5 fouls... also, it looked to me that the Spurs was in control of the game from the start and overall it was an easy and deserved W... // I can't wait for tonight's tip

PS. I know this might be a bit annoying, but this shows the Spurs' fans how bad they did their team: the reports said that for the 1st 2 games of the Series, both played in San Antonio, there was just around 30% Spurs fans - a percentage similar to the Knicks fans (this explains why Wemby was booed late in the game while shooting FTs* insane to happen in a NBA Finals Game at home), while the other tickets were sold to fans of the sport* mostly celebrities that can afford this high prices... while for G3, at most a few hundred Spurs fans were able to support their team at Madison Square Garden... it's easier to prepare/play away games in a hostile environment than a 'home game' that is more like an away game* plus the team is so young and they needed that plus/push from the fans - I think with good fans support, Wemby & Co. would have won at least one of the 1st 2 games...

Yes, Miami has gotten stronger this season, but it’s strange to see this kind of performance from the Diamondbacks, who played in the World Series just recently and know how to get results in tough situations. I always try to analyze the NBA thoroughly, and what I saw in the 3rd game of the series tells me that the Knicks won’t lose their second home game at Madison Square Garden. I am impressed with San Antonio, and they will still have a chance to turn this series into a Philadelphia-Boston scenario. Bet? Absolutely!

Portugal won 2-1 (half stake back), it was overall a good performance from the hosts and if not for a big defensive mistake (Inacio had IMO a rookie error that lead to Nigeria's goal), and/or Portugal payed a bit more attention to scoring from their many clear chances - it would have been a W at 2 or more goals... still, it was a good win and I liked what I've seen from Portugal and IMO they'll definitely have a good World Cup - if I had to pick a 'safe' stage, I'd say that I expect Portugal to reach at least semi-finals...

A bet on the World Cup opening fixture - Mexico will play at home (Azteca Stadium/Mexico City), so they'll definitely have the fans support for the 1st game from Group A (not an easy one with South Africa, South Korea and Czechia), plus the opponent, at least on paper, seems to be the 'easiest' one and I expect the hosts to get all 3 points (I don't think we'll have a very entertaining match and most likely we'll see few chances to score/ goals):

FT 2-0 in a match where the winner was never in doubt, this ended up as a big gift from Unibet @ 2.05 WoW and I also received a lot of Reboosts of an extra 10% - IMO this is a big W promotion and many people will go with Unibet even when this promotion/s are over (the Sports Betting site was improved a lot lately and Unibet also offers one of the best live streaming* at least in my country- for example we can follow live video even all the NBA events, most tennis tournaments, pretty much all the football competitions...)

I don't like to bet on every single match and/or I don't plan to watch every single event from this World Cup (most of you know that I bet mostly on events I plan to watch live video... I do plan to bet a bit more this period, but I won't go 'crazy'), so I'll go for interesting matches and/or where I see value on the odds offered...

Last bet won. The Dodgers played a very good game and won quite confidently. Even though Pittsburgh is traditionally a very dangerous team for Los Angeles when playing at home. My betting score is MLB 218-200 in favor of successful, NBA 236-243 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 10-18 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 8-12 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Washington Nationals at home will beat Seattle Mariners in the 1st game of the series. It’s strange, as I didn’t expect to see Washington as the underdog. Undoubtedly, this season is the Nationals’ best in the last few years, while Seattle has been disappointing so far. Zack Littell (his ERA is "4.76") will play as Washington’s starting pitcher. This starting pitcher showed incredible quality in May with an elite ERA of "2.35"! Zack Littell also played against Arizona Diamondbacks in June, pitching 5 innings with only 2 hits and 1 run allowed. This starting pitcher has played 3 games against Seattle, allowing 3 runs over 14 innings (his ERA is "1.93"). Washington has also won 8 out of 13 games this season when Zack Littell was in the starting lineup. As for head-to-head matches, the Nationals have won 7 of their last 10 games against the Mariners. Bet? Sure!

I wanted to turn off the broadcast during the game because my expectations weren't met and the Nationals showed no desire to compete. New bet: New York Knicks on the road will beat San Antonio Spurs in the 5th game of the series. I’ve spent a long time thoroughly analyzing the games in this series. Still, I have to be fair and admit that the series has to end. Yes, the Knicks deserve championship rings! And perhaps only Oklahoma City could have stopped New York. As for the bets on this NBA Playoffs, they’ve definitely been profitable, in every round. In fact, I’m finishing my 3rd season of NBA betting with a 3-game winning streak in The Finals. And next season, I plan to get my overall win rate above 50%. I plan to make MLB predictions all season long, throughout the entire Postseason (including the World Series). As for today’s prediction, Boston has won 12 of its last 15 home games against Texas Rangers (and the Red Sox scored 4 runs or more in each of those wins). Connelly Early (his ERA is “3.30”) will play as Boston’s starting pitcher. He’s definitely a very talented player! Initially, I planned to bet that Connelly Early will allow 2 runs or fewer, but I decided that betting on a Boston victory is a safer and more profitable option. Bet? Absolutely!

Brazil vs. Morocco game wasn't as entertaining as I've expected, both teams did score as I've mentioned in my previous post... sigh... I've thought that a Brazil W was more likely to happen... FT 1-1 with (IMO) Morocco the better team overall!

This World Cup ends up to be way tougher to predict than I've expected: I mean pretty much all the results yesterday were upsets (the biggest one was definitely the 1-1 draw between Qatar and Switzerland* just WoW) and/or the way the teams performed wasn't as expected (for example Scotland did win 1-0, but Haiti was the better team and deserved at least a draw...); it's just round 1 from group stage, so way to early early to say anything about any team... I'll switch to live betting until I watch more games and be more confident in placing pre-match bets again... I'll watch later today (in ~5 hours) Sweden vs. Tunisia and I expect Sweden to win @ 2.00

Very sad for San Antonio! I only really understood how this series would end after the 2nd game. It was bound to happen. Jalen Brunson has such incredible spirit. He started out as a backup point guard in Dallas, drafted with the 33rd pick in the 2nd round! Moreover, this season Luka Doncic joined the Mavericks as their top young star. Why did Jalen Brunson become a superstar at the Knicks? Undoubtedly, thanks to his character! I gave Jalen Brunson a standing ovation after the 5th game of the series, even though I’ve never rooted for or liked the Knicks. We will see a very interesting Offseason and a new NBA season in October, which is set to be even more exciting!

Boston's leader, Jarren Duran, has shown incredible regression this season (his offensive efficiency is 21.10%). This is the worst performance of his career. New bet: Philadelphia Phillies at home will beat Miami Marlins in the first 5 innings of the 1st game of the series. There’s an incredible disparity between the starting pitchers. Zack Wheeler (his ERA is "2.22") will play as Philadelphia’s starting pitcher. He is undoubtedly a legendary player! But this season is the best of Zack Wheeler’s career! Philadelphia won 7 out of 9 games in the regular season (losing only to Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers) when Zack Wheeler was in the starting lineup. The Phillies also won 7 out of 9 games in the first 5 innings when Zack Wheeler was their starting pitcher. Ryan Gusto (his ERA is "6.00") will play as Miami’s starting pitcher. I find it hard to understand why the Marlins decided to put him in the starting rotation, since this player is basically a relief pitcher in the best-case scenario. Ryan Gusto also had a rough season last year with an ERA of “5.67”. Bet? Sure!
