We are in the round of "8".

From what I've seen till far, I think that Brazil and Belgium are the best teams in this World Cup. These two teams play each other the Friday, and I think that the winner of this match will probably be the winner of the cup.

Belgium have the best mid and front line in the tournament (and after that, comes Croatia). We are talking about a team which has Lukaku as the basic striker and Batshuayi as the backup. A team with plenty of high-quality solutions in the midfield and attack.

Thoughts?
 
I like Brazil and also like Belgium. Both Team has good players. And like to control the ball all the time. They attack a lot and are not defensive team. Another Team that i found very solid la Uruguay. Great defense and mortal attack.
 
The final will be between France and Croatia. France will win and will be the next world champion.

Certainly the champion comes out of this confrontation. You spoke of the attack and the half field of Belgium, but if you look at Brazil he has players like Gabriel Jesus, Roberto Firmino, William, Douglas Costa and, of course, neymar. Already in the middle field has Coutinho, Casemiro, Paulinho. Brazil has the best team in the championship. I believe he will win and win his sixth world title.

I have no idea in this match.I think they will dispute the penalties.
 
It is going to be very difficult and close. Nervous game for sure. Any mistake can be the end. I hope Brazil wins but it is going to be very tough.
 
I am a bit surprised why the brazilian manager doesn't use Douglas Costa in the basic lineup. He made a very good season with Juventus. He is an excellent player, strong, with the ability to make some brutal attacks and break the opposite defence.
 
I think which team between Brazil and Belgium move to the next phase already this with one hand on the Cup as sound the best 2 teams are still in contention canopy
 
I'm rooting for Brazil, but I know it's going to be a difficult match and it's a lot of competition until the last second.

I agree Luvart...its either of those two teams for sure, but then again who knows in this world cup of shocks..if england beat sweden then i give them a very good chance..i think england are joint 3rd favourites with croatia...
 
Depends on how they ref. If it's called tight and game is open, France and Belgium will be a great game. However, these games have been very physical. I like Belgium over Croatia in the final.
 
The last of the Mohicans goes home. Brazil was defeated, everything becomes even more interesting.

Great game. Even Neymar manned up for this one. A battle of composure - defensive composure by Belgium in their own box was amazing. One moment of panic by defenders and this could have been a very different game. Congratulations to Belgium and Brazil.
 
Actually, the middle and attack of Belgium is fascinating. But in my view France takes the cup!

I agree with you on France taking the world cup this time... but I hope Belgium will take the small chance they have to beat them in the semi finals.
