Croatia reached their maiden Nations League final thanks to a thrilling 4-2 victory after extra time against hosts Netherlands on Wednesday, and they return to Rotterdam here aiming to secure the first victory in their history at a final tournament.

Spain, meanwhile, beat Italy 2-1 thanks to an 88th-minute Joselu winner, and will hope to go one better than in 2021, when they lost 2-1 to France in the final.

I'll be honest i totally wrote Croatia off against the Netherlands thinking that there squad is getting to old now.

But how wrong I was they proved they still have it over 120 mins not just 90 mins.

So i won't be backing against them in the final and will just watch and enjoy instead.

Still would slightly favour Spain due to the fact Croatia played extra time.
 
Spain I THINK BUT IS NOT FIRST TIME TO cROATIA MAY HAVE A SORPRISE THIS TIME
 
Croatia has achieved good results lately, in the last two world cups finished ahead of several "Favourites", I hope that the good work becomes a title sunday, let's see...
 
I think that due to the squad and youth, Spain should win. but croatia showed that they are a serious team and that it is difficult to beat them. It also comes from very good results in the last World Cups and European tournaments. The Croats deserve the win.
 
I think that Spain will win the match but I really hope Croatia win a trophy for the first time.Modric deserves it.

We beat the Dutch who were favored by the bookmakers. And if you ask me, we beat them deservedly, we were better in almost every aspect of the game.

I expect an interesting match against Spain. I am interested in whether we will be able to achieve dominance in the middle of the pitch, which is usually our strength.

Who will be the winner? I think the chances are 50:50. I know we can, the only question is whether we will.
 
This match is more important for Croatia because it is essentially the last final for Modric, Vida and other age players. Spain is in a rebuilding phase, with a lot of talented young players who are just starting to make their mark in Europe. Also, I don't think many goals will be scored tonight. My prediction: 1-1 in regulation time, with Croatia winning in extra time.

I think Spain wins, but Croatia can surprise, they have excellent players who can surprise.
 
I was cheering for Croatia, it was a shame to lose. Modric deserved a title for his national team before retirement.
 
I supported Croatia, but the penalty shootout did not go as well for them as for Spain.

Despite the balanced possession, Croatia tried more and also had more shots on goal. I also think that Modrid also deserved to take this title, because Croatia has been showing a lot of regularity and very close to winning titles in the last times.
 
I really think that Croatia ,without Modric,will not have another chance to reach a final,especially in a World Cup.
