Pretty sick record first ever two defenceman in NHL history to get hat tricks in back to back games Mattias ekholm and Evan Bouchard ..he had 6 points in his hat trick game

The NHL trade deadline should be very interesting for the oilers as we really want to win the cup this year after being in the finals 2 years in a row ..time to win it this year

Down 3 to 0 in the first period the oilers storm back to win 4 to 3 the rink was electric ⚡ ⚡

Three straight cmon let's smack the wild and get on a run ..let's go oil

7 to 3 they got smacked hard ..not a good showing Minnesota gpt them 1 to 0 the time before this season

Leafs vs oilers today ..should be a barn burner ..get your popcorn and don't miss this one ..I see a shootout 4 to 3 ...5 to 4 situation or the oilers dominate ..we will see tonight .

Pathetic effort at home on a leafs team going back to back 5 tom2 leafs

This team is brutal on defence 4 to 3 loss to the lowly flames and 0 and 3 since they dumped player favourite on waivers pickard ..if a real move on coaching and roster isn't made this will be another year without the cup and likely no finals appearance either like the last two seasons

The drama on this team and management is unreal the three week Olympic break is likely a blessing in disguise ..the lack of defence with what we spend on our guys is disheartening,,hopefully Paul Coffey comes back and Stuart is just on the PP because he clearly isn't motivating these guys to make sound plays 5 on 5

The oilers have major problems again.. they got a new goalie but didn’t get the right kinda goalie.. they literally got a worse skinner.. they needed the guy in Nashville’s a guy who can handle a bundle of shots

We could have drafted a lights out goalie playing for Minnesota too which is super frustrating ..if Coffey comes back to run the defence .. accountability will rise but this season is super disappointing this far ..especially the 8 game home stand before the Olympic break

Here's hoping an Olympic gold can spur Connor on to lead the oilers back to the finals

Best oiler news coming out of the break is Paul Coffey is back taking over the defence ..this is big

Both Leon and Connor coming back with hand injuries is hard to deal with especially when in canadas case we didn't win gold ...oiler players better step the fook up

They need goaltending, top 4 defenceman, and a depth centre ,they get that they likely go back to the cup finals, tho gotta say getting out of the west will be really tough,Vegas, Colorado and Minnesota are all right there, going to be easier in the East where almost anyone who makes the playoffs has a chance to run to the finals

A hard nose damn that it's everything and stays at home would be perfect ...they let tomasek go back to Europe way to quickly ...and our coach himself needs to be better in certain areas himself .

Kulak being moved again for more assets just shows how bad our recent trade with Pittsburgh was 🙁 I called it then too and I'm surprised that wasn't a winning trade for the oilers even remotely

About as disappointing as it gets for a first game back ..had a two goal lead twice and a one goal lead and lose the game 6 to 5 ...Jarry can't save a beach ball

We love playing the LA Kings ...get panarin who cares oilers 8 to 1 boom 🙂

your guys need a big trade deadline that comes with a decent goalie, either one of the leaf goalies must be looking pretty good right now, even the guy they have in the minors and the leafs need to clean house

Agreed if it's a quiet trade deadline this year the oilers are toast ...a couple of real moves would make this team really scary Jarry which I knew and said was so wrong is worse then advertised ...good thing Ingram has stepped up or we wouldn't even be in the playoff picture

so true, I think the Oilers have got to make major moves or McDavid loses his mind, they got such a small window to win, they got to being going all-in or heads will roll should be a fun week ,1st domino should start falling anytime

Your Leafs lost it the day they let Mark Hunter walk away, anyone who wants to win the Cup all they need to do is hire him and give him 5 years and your team will be in the hunt every year, ever since Dale and him took over London is win,I think he has one of the best hockey minds anywhere

watched the Oiler- Shark game yesterday, besides needing a goalie their not winning anything if they dont learn team defence,,there was 1 break down after another
