It takes a mix of real consequences and a push for genuine growth. Hitting them with fines, match suspensions, and losing endorsements are the immediate wake-up calls that show organizations aren't messing around.

You have no idea about Argentines. You're talking about someone you see on a court. The Brazilian police beat all the visitors, always in the Copa Libertadores, they hand out palazos and palazos
I saw it personally, in 2014 world cup in a Argentina's game. And in a Cruzeiro X Boca Juniors match this year. And it occurred in this world cup.

Like I said, I'm not talking about all the people of Argentina, country that I visited three times, and loved. But racism is tolerated there. This is a fact.

I don't think it was acceptable. Rivalries and celebrations are part of sports, but they shouldn't cross the line into insulting people based on who they are.

Professional athletes have a huge platform, so it's fair to expect them to take responsibility for what they say and do, even after the final whistle.

Como ya dije, no me refiero a toda la gente de Argentina, país que visité tres veces y que me encantó. Pero allí se tolera el racismo. Eso es un hecho.
It's a fact that you don't know anything. People often behave irrationally on a soccer field all over the world. That doesn't define anything. Here it is full of foreigners studying in our public universities... and no one is discriminated against. So you don't know anything

Are you telling me that racism is acceptable depending on where it occurs? Is that it?

I tell you that what happens on a soccer field doesn't define whether a country is racist or not. It's not hard to understand, is it? It's simple. Here it is full of foreigners where they have education and public health. So you don't know anything like I said.

Argentina is La Bruja del 71. Nobody likes her.

As time goes by, you understand that there is something much more important than a result.

For years, this group has represented the country in the most beautiful way. They show us that competing is not just about winning, but about giving everything for the shirt and never giving up. I am proud to be part of this group, which has always taken responsibility, which has fought at the highest level and which has defended these colors with pride, modesty and dedication.

I want to thank all the Argentine fans. Thank you for always being with us, for accompanying us in every match, for your affection, for your unconditional support and for making us feel at home anywhere in the world.

Wearing the shirt of my country is the greatest honor of my career and I will continue to give everything every time I have the opportunity to defend it.

ENZO's message after the final against Spain.

Enzo Fernández is set to hold crucial meetings with Chelsea next week regarding his future as interest from other clubs intensifies.

'much more important than a result' and 'unconditional support' are great if you behave in a sporting manner .yet the world saw players and fans that have zero class !

Paredes and Ayala should've been permanently banned from International Football matches
This was never ever going to happen but what has been handed down is substantial, i agree with your sentiments though.
What is does show is - you cannot behave that way and get away with it, if Argentina ever do anything again - be that Copa America/World Cup - its building a case to exclude them from future tournaments.

you know you're right, that attitude has to be punished, but the song was made by a handful of chetos (people with a lot of money from Buenos Aires) YES WITH MONEY I SAID, PRECISELY THE PEOPLE WITH THE MOST MONEY WHO SHOULD HAVE THE MOST EDUCATION ARE THE ONES THAT REPRESENT US BAD OUTSIDE,HOW CRAZY, RIGHT?. THE ORIGIN OF THE SONG IS ANGER ON THE PART OF THE ARGENTINE BECAUSE SUPPOSEDLY THE FRENCH PLAYERS ARE NOT FRENCH BUT ARE NATIONALIZED BUT THEY ARE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY, EVEN SO IT DOES NOT JUSTIFY IT AND THAT SHOULD BE SANCTIONED

The 25-year-old midfielder has been at the centre of criticism since March, when he criticised the club's board for sacking manager Enzo Maresca, who was reported to have been in talks with Manchester City.

The Argentine further angered fans when he said he would like to live in Madrid. Everyone immediately linked him to Real Madrid and a possible move, making him persona non grata at Stamford Bridge.
