Germany played another ugly game today.
They just win by dumb luck....

80% sure, Germany's defending line needs to rebuild.

I took Germany to win the whole thing at 11/2....still think they can do it but they have to play better.

Then again, Brazil and Argentina don't look great. France struggled a bit against Nigeria, Holland almost lost to Mexico...still anyone's tournament.

I don't know how USA will do today but hey they all said we were not even make it out of group g. Now look , but we play powerhouses and advanced maybe there's gonna be a surprise in the world cup that is USA! GO USA! Hopefully we win tonite.

On FIFA world ranking list Belgium is at 11th place with 1074 points, USA is at 13th place with 1035 points. So according to the list the teams are pretty the same. I think it's a 50-50% match. Both team has same chance to win.

Nice work from the USA, even suffering 2 goals in overtime, battled to the end and unfortunately failed, but they can leave with head held high!

Glad for him, he was one of my favorite players in 90s
especially in conjunction with Rudi Völler.
Netherlands vs Costa Rica is not a good option for me,
as i like both of these teams...

Great game by the U.S. and the goaltender made some nice saves and keep his team in it would have liked too see penalty shots with a U.S. equalizer at the end of the game good battle by both teams not liking all these 0-0 games after 90 minutes

I disagree with everyone. I saw the US playing not to lose, rather than playing to win. Now, that strategy is good in a poker tourney, but we generally get more opportunities to strike in poker than they would get in a futbol match.

So in this case put me in the 'in it to win it' camp. ***

*** this is not the camp you will find me in if it's about poker tourneys, I am always happy to play the waiting game in poker.

I'm hoping Germany, Brazil, Argentina & Netherlands make it to the semis. As I said in another post ITT, I think Germany might be winning it all this year. They do have to step up their game though.

Yeah it was the best I have seen Belgium play so far - I think they'll have a good chance against Argentina.

4 great looking quarter finals this weekend.

I think the best looking teams so far have been Colombia, Netherlands & France.
