What a crazy first game.. 3 red cards in the opening game.
But good performance by Mexico. Could have easily been 4-5 goals.

For me, the first two red cards in todays first World Cup match are indisputable. One was a clear denial of an obvious goal scoring opportunity and the other was violent conduct, so I dont think there is much room for debate on either decision. The third red card is the one that raises questions for me. Montes was not the last defender, which is an important factor. While the South African player may have still gotten a shot away, its hard to call it a clear goal scoring opportunity given the angle and overall position on the field. That one felt a bit harsh compared with the other two calls.

But live in the stadium , only the very rich. That wasn't always the case. My father told me once he paid little over 400 Schilling for two world cup games in Milano in 1990. That's around 13€ / 15$ in today's currency
Today only the superrich and maybe some lucky locals who snatched some "cheap" tickets are able to experience this event live in person
There is actually a ticket on FIFAs reseller site for 2 FREAKIN MILLION

These World Cup Pick and Go games look interesting. They are $10 buy ins, ut the buy in is split between the 2 teams playing, so for example tonight at 8pm UK its Canada vs Bosnia. Canada are favourites, so if you pick them buy in is $6.29, but Bosnia buy in is $3.71

I don't think Canada deserve to be favourites, and def not to that degree, so you can get a $10 buy in game for $3.71. The proble occurs at the end of the match, as if you uy in as the losing team, you gte auto elimiatated!!!

However if you pick matches that are a draw, everyone remains in the tournament.....some good value to be had here

Edit, the prize pool overlay only goes down by what you actually pay, so its a discount vs anyone paying full price to re buy after the game. why would you do this???? And also only really a discount vs the players who paid a different price.

I wonder if the cost will change in game, say of Bosnia score first, will their cost to enter go up?? I've just read more and yes the odds do change pre game and during the match

I'm gonna watch this later, and may even buy in as Bosnia

I can confirm, cost change during the match depending on the score.

There is also some late reg after the game ends where you can buy in or re entry for the full 10$ after the supporters of the losing team got eliminated

I think the countries that will do well are France, Spain, England, Portugal, Argentina, Japan, Germany, Brazil, and Morocco.

Out of all of them, I’m hoping Portugal wins it all. If not Portugal, then I’d like to see Brazil win. Portugal has a very talented squad with quality in every position, while Brazil always seems to be one of the strongest contenders whenever the World Cup comes around.

I was surprised they were 2nd faves, as they are a solid side, and beat Wales and Italy in the playoffs. Edit: they actually drew with them but won on pens

I think Brazil, Argentina, France, and Spain will be among the strongest teams. If I had to pick a winner, I'd go with Brazil—I think they have a great chance if they stay consistent
