England looked good most of the tournament . Too bad they lost focus , fell back ,played defense, and gave the match away at the end vs Argentina in the semis . They 'd likely have given us a better final game vs France than what we got today .

I think they had a good World Cup, besides showing more ambition. England always has good teams, but it seemed like they cared less. Unfortunately, the decision to sit back against Argentina was disappointing, as was not using Saka as a starter throughout the tournament. If lessons were learned, I believe this project can still be successful.

At least, they managed to beat France in a very exciting match and win the bronze medal.It is a pity they couldn´t reach the final.
