They've been really struggling this year, but that could be a huge addition for them.
 
I don't know if this move improves the team but it is a impact move.

In my opinion I feel it might make it worse simply because Butler strengths is a pure scorer but not a great overall play.
 
Might look good at first glance adding a player of his caliber but look at whos on their bench now. A bunch of no name players you probably haven't even heard about.
 
I think he's a good fit there. But I still see them far from winning a championship.
 
Thought that trading slaves and gladiators has ended couple of centuries ago.

Hasn't he been all-defensive 2nd team four times?
 
Anytime you upgrade from an erratic 2nd yr. player to all-star stud, well your team just got a lot better . He plays great D {4x all D teams}, and hustles to loose balls. With Reddick coming off the bench to light it up, the burden of 20+ shots is alleviated.
 
very strong gain for the Sixers, I hope they will beat their last year's record with him
 
It looks good for Sixers, but two good players are gone, and team is so small
 
I'm not sure what above poster means, Butler is a great defensive player.

In terms of talent he is a poor man's Kawhi Leonard, you could definitely win with him being one of your top 3 guys if you surround him with the right people
