Okay, so we're on the similar mindset. I'm a Lakers fan, so I'm glad Luka Doncic is now in Los Angeles, but it is also absolutely bad to lose Anthony Davis. He is, indeed, an elite power forward and Dallas is very lucky they got him.

Since LeBron and Anthony Davis have the same agent, surely he knew about this trade. Of course, LeBron said in interviews that this trade was a surprise to him, but we all realize that he couldn't have said anything else.

In the long run, LA won that trade…in the short term, it is one superstar for another. AD has had some injuries, but Doncic being so overweight is quite concerning. Big men who play great offensive and defensive games are rare…AD is still a force to deal with.

Its a rare win win

Lakers have a name brand star for the next 10 to 15 to build around

Dallas when healthy will be a defensive fortress for the next few years...and then anthony davis and kyrie and klay win retire and theyll have room to rebuild in maybe 5 years time

Davis had been proving the "oft injured" narrative to be exaggerated the last few year. It's crazy he got injured in his first game with the Mavs!!! If he can stay on the court, I believe him and Kyrie form a very formidable duo that could have ultimate success.

Luka Doncic looks much better already. He scored 32 points in 31 minutes in the game against Denver, 4 three-point shots on 9 attempts, 10 rebounds, 7 assists to 1 turnover, 4 steals and 1 block. This is the kind of performance that all Lakers fans expect from the Slovenian. And it wasn't Utah or Washington, it was Denver Nuggets! All in all, the main thing is that the Lakers get into the Playoffs without injuries. :unsure:
