Lionel Messi can be suspended from the matches of national teams for two years for criticizing the South American football Federation and insulting employees.

No f**kn way... WHAT A BULLSHIT *(g(!&#g!*(#!
Conmebol is a nest of corrupt and thieves...

He doesn't give a damn, because he's not playing anymore for Argentina.

although slightly late....luckily he realized before retiring, otherwise they could not punish him.
(except from the veterans games)

Messi's words are frustrating. He is admired by all the players who play with him or against him. However, I did not like his statements.

Good. Because he is a great player it doesn´t mean he can say whatever he wants and insult people on a very low level. I hope he learn from this mistake.

This man won almost everything, only the Argentine national team did not win anything, understandable if frustrated.
About the statement, may be right, maybe not, but to ban it because he said something, this attack on democracy and freedom of speech.

I find it difficult to take a punishment of this very long two years is very long, but it deserves it takes a suspension in the minimum of a 5 games
😎😎😎😱😀

I think Messi suspension of 2 years is a too much, you can criticize, oskarblyat can not, here he is wrong.

This is awful. They are now not taking criticism about their illegal actions and whoever mentions that is punished. I think that he is right and shouldn't be suspended.

Then reduce the penalty or remove it straight in my otherwise so they lose and the football world as a whole ..

Imagine if Messi is disqualified, and Argentina will win the Copa America 2020 🙂

I dont think he will be sad about it. 😉

Outstanding players have always allowed themselves a lot. He is an icon of world football at the moment. He will be forgiven

for me it is very strange that all of you write about what Messi told much. and nobody, and especially admirers of soccer from South America, say that refereeing on this tournament was awful, as well as always, and nobody fights against it.
referees in soccer have to be not noticeable, but not main "stars". generally, at such poor quality of refereeing and not action of football federation, it is easy to assume corruption.

I don’t really care about “Football” but I know “Messi.” He is amazing soccer player (the best..?) but sad about this. 2 years suspended? Ouch

terrible refereeing throughout the championship. He said everything in the case and there will be no two-year disqualification. This is Messi! The best player in the world! Tens of thousands of people go to watch it and the organizers earn a lot of money on it

suspend the ref

if Messi gets a 2 year suspension , the official who red carded him for nothing should get a 4 year ban ! Fair is fair .
