Micheal Jordan is the Goat of basketball.
I dare you to change my mind.

I doubt it

There were so many great players before Jordan and a couple after him that makes me doubt that he is the GOAT.

I agree!! Michael Jordan is the best....

He is "Pelé" of Basketball!!!

Disagree. Bulls were still an ECF team the year he played baseball.

He is right there but if going offclutch and titles it’s bill russel

Jordan is a real GAOT.
If he was on the field, he could do anything.
Jumping from punishment line is sensational movement is no coincidence that it has become his trademark.

I agree that Jordan is different, although there are several other names that play or have played in a different way too (I think that in other sports it might be "less difficult" to point out this distance between competitors, currently)

This isnt even a conversation, MJ is untouchable and at his best, he totally changed games and continued to do so for so long...
Sadly though he did Space Jam lmao 😉

If only he didn’t quit basketball those few years and won maybe one or two more

Anyone who wants to know more details about the life of Michael Jordan, I advise you to watch the series about his career The Last Dance, he made an unforgettable impression on me.

Yeah Jordans the goat! everyone who says Lebron is doesn't realize that Lebron only ask to be traded to winning teams where he can get championships @! MJ made the bulls.. MJ my fav than kobe.. Also I bought a MJ tarhells Jersey love the blue!

Michael Jordan is the greatest of all times. Lebron James deserves to be 2nd overall probably. He generated most points all time (scored+assisted), dominated in so many games since 2003, defeated 73-9 GSW trailing 1-3 in the finals.

There is no answer to this question. They all played at different times! Therefore, you have to ask who was better at a certain time.

I agree with your first two,but i do not think that shaq is better than kareem, magic or bird, even hakeem.I have shaq around the 8th spot, because his prime was way too short.

Just my top 5 - in no particular order except MJ 🙂

Legend

Michael Jordan is great, and he changed basketball. I think a lot of young guys started playing basketball because of him. His path is an example that hard work and self-belief leads to success.

I agree with you sir. MJ also have the GOAT attitude somethings that the players of today area don't have..

I agree that Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever.

After that the players that fill the top-5 are:

2.Wilt Chamberlain
3.Nick Galis
4.Roy Tarpley
5.LeBron James

I grew up in that Era and to me he is the GOAT as well buuuuuuuuut
I am still a Lebron Fan.😀
You cant take away how dominant of a player he is and will be considered in this Era

I saw this and said no. Bill Russell was the best ever. The Championships, dominating Game 7s with his defense and rebounds, it was crazy. You people think highly of points but Russell was pulling down 30, 40+ rebounds a game doing something you couldn't even imagine. I just lost money on the Nets yesterday because Tatum scored 50+ points but Russell would have shut something like that down or at least reduced the damage. And not to mention all the prejudice that those folks had to endure as well back then as well is also something to think about.

Jordan was a scorer that played awesome games with lots of memorable moments and was huge for his time but this Lebron fella is way better. Lebron can play both sides of the ball and took a nobody team like the Cavs vs Golden State and basically beat them by HIMSELF for a championship. Jordan could never do that and Jordan's defense was nowhere as good as James. Jordan needed a Hall of Fame group of supporting cast to get to a championship.

Check out the Stats on Bill Russell & I think You will see the GOAT
