I LOVE that there are Dolphin fans among us - @pirateglenn and @Mauricio Perrotta what do you think of the GM hire? I'm also torn on what to do with Tua - cutting him doesn't make a ton of sense because the dead cap space is going to cripple us, but he better not have anything in his hands other than a clipboard next season. The draft isn't deep at QB, so I fear next seasoh is already lost which stinks...but at least we're not the Raiders or the Jets right??

In terms of the playoffs starting today, obviously I don't want the Bills to do anything except lose. I'm marginally better with the Pats but not much - if they both end up in the AFC Championship, I'll root for a power outage...

In the AFC, my heart would love the Jags to get through but I suspect the Broncos will win the West. Being oppressed for so long behind the Chieds, it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see them go to the SuperBowl, but I like what Jacksonville has done this year. If they can get by the Bills, I think they have a legit shot as the rest of the AFC doesn't scare me.

In the NFC, I would fear San Fran. Being at home, and a better record than the 3rd seed in the Eagles, I could see them go on a run. The Bears aren't tested, the Pack have questions, the Panthers aren't going to do anything, and the Chargers are too familiar to the 49ers. Seattle is their only roadblock to a home SuperBowl, and my gut tells me to not bet against Christian McCaffrey and what he can do to a defense.

So I guess I'm Broncos & 49ers in the SuperBowl, and give me the 49ers at home 27-24.

as a patriots fan, i think the dolphins made the right move (and id prefer they make the wrong moves lol) by firing gm chris grier (shouldve done that a while ago if you ask me) and mcdaniel... i think mike is a good offensive mind and would make a good OC again, but it was clear from day 1, imo, that he isnt head coach material... at least not yet. im sure hell get another chance down the line eventually, but he definitely isnt HC material now, so another good move. the next step for miami is hopefully making the right hires at GM and HC this hiring cycle. and as far as Tua goes... i think you have to move on. If you can get someone to trade for him (unlikely) great, but if not, just cut him as a post june 1st cut this year to lessen the cap ramifications for this season, and just take the huge hits this year and next. i think hes proven he isnt going to ever be anything special consistently and with the concussion issues, i dont see why youd want to tie yourself too him any longer. they have a lot of holes, so if i were them, yes id explore the veteran qb market via FA and trade this offseason, but i think id stick with Ewers next year to see if hes got anything. By the end of 26, you then know if he does or doesnt and then you know for sure you need a QB for 27 and beyond.
as far as this years playoffs go, outside of the panthers, steelers, packers and chargers (for different reasons), i think any of the other 10 teams can win it all... it also wouldnt surprise me to see any of those ten teams also lose their first playoff game. no one is that much better than any other team this year.... should be a good playoffs! as far as what i think will happen (im sure it wont lol) i think itll end up being philly vs either seattle or the rams in the NFCCG... if its seattle, i think philly gets back to the super bowl... if its the rams, i think the rams get to the super bowl... in the afc, houston upsets denver in the div rd, and will end up visiting either the jags or the pats in the AFCCG. and be it the jags or the pats, id take that team over houston in that game to get to the super bowl. i think whomever wins the NFCCG, wins a close super bowl over either the jags or pats.

I think we had no other choice then to let Mike go - stats dont lie at the end of the day and i feel we seriously need to take a long hard look at ourselves defensively because for me, thats where most of our problems need to be solved. QB wise - well we need to be cute as being 11th in the draft picking order isn't great but im looking at where collegiate wise - we might snag a prospect, i am still for letting Tua go personally but we need to be sensible and open those talks whilst shopping around.
I think John Harbaugh is where we will go for head coach and hopefully he will pull some players Miamis way too.
Jon-Eric-Sullivan i feel was a shrewd GM acquisition.

Im going left field for Superbowl depending on the draw obvs but the final i would love to see would be Philly V Seahawks. I definitely feel any final with the Seahawks in would be exciting, they have really impressed me more than anyone this season.

Just to add - Sam Leavitt at Arizona state is a QB im looking at for Miami.

There's a reason the NFL playoffs are considered one of the best formats - I think the NHL first round is still better but the one and done mentality is definitely exciting isn't it??

We'll never see a Philly / Seahawks Superbowl though...they're both in the NFC...

@pirateglenn I don't know much about that QB from Arizona State - I've only reall heard of Maronza from Indiana turning heads but he's most likely going to be a Raider by the looks of things.

I try @pirateglenn - what can I say???
You succeed my friend where others never try. Excellent.
Im still in rehab from the rams game - this philly game is dire.
Josh Allen however today was incredible. The Bills have a strong chance.
