The NY Jets are +11.5 tonight, i never thought i would ever contemplate betting the Jets, especially against the Pats. However, Jets D seems able to contain Brady, and now he has no real weapons. Am i insane for thinking of taking the Jets and the 11.5 tonite? PLEASE, someone talk me out of this!

11.5 is a LOT of points for an NFL game. If the Jets had any offense I'd be tempted but they don't so I won't.

I like the colts over the dolphins at 1.68 the Falcons too bounce back at home against the Rams upset specials would probably be the Cowboys over the Chiefs at 2.35 cant see the redskins winning against the packers but they should keep it close at 9.5 points and the 49ers will win by a field goal against the Seahawks nice odds on the money line at 2.15

Lol, it is IMPOSSIBLE to win betting sports. Anyone who think otherwise is either on a heater or in denial.

Not impossible. Just hard. Vegas is really good at setting lines, it's so hard to get more than the ~52.5% against the spread that you need to profit. But you're right, compared to poker there is VERY little edge there, especially in the NFL.

The people I know and respect who bets sports and profit typically bet college basketball and MLB more than the NFL. So many more games, and there's a little more edge there.

Yea I would have binked that large teaser in week 1, but didn't place it. Didn't have the testicles to wager 100 on a single bet lol.

Nice on the poker cashes. I things will start to level out with the betting in the next weeks or so. Teams develop their identity and what not, helping with betting patterns.

In other news, haven't gotten my free $10 bet from the '2 for 1' promotion. I guess the teasers don't pay up for that bet. I keep going to 'my account' then clicking on the 'bonuses' tab and nothing showing up. I'd like to think I'm in the right spot to find it, but nothin there. Oh well...
