Oh yes. This. High emotion games like this (maybe Peyton returning to Indy, although Den is a for sure to at least win that one) I try to avoid. Just don't know what to expect.

Aside from the St. L. game, I like this. Feel Dallas could win by 2 TD's potentially, they tend to put up points at home. If that's the case, I don't trust the Rams to respond, and able to put up TD for TD. But yea, they should keep it within that 11 spread there.

man, dont oversell the cowboys, they aren't that great. the rams aren't THAT bad. im sorry but the cowboys havent showed me anything these 1st 2 weeks and that pretty much continues the trend since romo has been behind center.


edit: in fact, the ONLY team i hate betting more than the cowboys is the giants. both are completely unreliable week to week.

You're right. Did some more research in favor of St. L. to see how they have been so far this year (haven't followed them too closely). Seems Bradford is getting his passing game going on rather well, a lot better than years past.

He sticks with that newly developed game, you're golden.

Too much emotion in this game for me to touch with a 10 foot pole...

As for this week's "locks", I've got 2 games that I'm considering. As previously stated, San Diego (+3) has their offense hitting all cylinders and the Falcons (+3) vs the Dolphins. I know ATL is a little banged up, but I don't think Miami is able to start off 3-0 leaving ATL at 1-2.. No way...

Im not sure who to pick in this game. I think the Chiefs will find a way to score becuse the eagles will struggle on defense. Turnovers could hurt the eagles so watch out. Eagles just need to play up at the line and force Alex Smith to throw deep balls, something he's not comfortable with.

What do you guys think about betting according to the Pinnacle lines right before the game?
Tonight the Pinnacle line on the u/o bet for tonight's game is Under 49.5 -106 and Over 49.5 -104 whereas Bovada is offering Under 51 at -105 and over 51 at -115 which would theoretically make the under bet worthwhile, correct?
And for any of you who don't know how it works on Pinnacle they basically made it so that it auto-corrects the lines they are offering, so if the under bet is getting a lot more action than the over bet they will lower the odds on the under bet.

bovada's lines are auto-correcting too. didnt know there was a name for it. their lines change a lot and often as far as the payouts are concerned. plus why do they refer to it as "live betting" instead of pinnacle betting if that's what they are called. but i digress...


to answer your question as best i can, i wouldnt let the lines determine if it's a "good bet" or not. either you're going to get it or not, be happy with whatever it's paying if that's what you feel is going to happen. some money is better than no money chasing "good bets".......

this week i'm going to go big on a moneyline parlay. i'm currently thinking, seahawks/broncos/vikings to win. i feel like i could add bears in there too as another "lock" but for some reason i just cant bet on the bears (same feelings as betting cowboys or giants). they just lose when they shouldnt sometimes.

i'm interested to hear if anyone thinks i should just roll with hawks/broncos/vikes (which will pay like $450 to win $450ish, i'm hoping) or add in 1 more. convince me of someone who wont lose (straight up), and dont say packers....

Sorry about not being more clear. I was talking about http://www.pinnaclesports.com/ which as far as I know is the biggest sports betting site in the US.
A guy I know told me that it would theoretically be profitable to follow their lines and then bet on a different site like Bovada that doesn't update their lines as often. Bovada changes their lines a little bit, but for the most part they tend to stay the same.

It looks like the bonus bet they give you for the 2 for 1 Tuesday's promotion only pays out the win amount instead of the bet amount+win amount. Maybe you guys already knew that, but I used my free bet on the Kansas City Chiefs +3½ which payed out $8.70 if it was a winner, so normally you would get your original bet of $10+$8.70 for winning, but instead it just payed me $8.70.
So it looks like the promotion might not be that great after all. Still a good day if you are placing a parlay bet anyway.

oh yeah man that's why i went for a good paying teaser.

let me ask you though, have you checked your account statement online? i'm interested to know if the money is withdrawal-able or if it's listed as "bonus$". i think it may be bonus which i think means you have to play poker and earn points or lay more bets or something to make it withdrawal-able. you can look into your bonus's under my account>statements>bonus statement.
