Yeah, he defeated two very good hungarian swimmers.
BTW now Hungary is at 3rd place, since Katinka Hosszu won 3 gold medals so far (she is our Phelps 🙂 😀 ).

This man is super athlete ,
he alone has more Olympic medals that my country joining the medals the athletes everyone from the first games....

I thought that Phelps will no longer take the participation in the Olympic Games after the Olympic Games 2012 in London, but this guy still has something to surprise us , and he does it.
Truly a great athlete 😱
 
I`m Romanian,hope we win gold at fencing with team. I just watch OG for swimming.Phelps is just CRAZY!!!! SAme LEDECKY

well our swimmers our rowing and divers are doing pretty good so far go canada go more medals to come

I thought Phelps has a race tonight, I'm probably wrong but I heard someone say that last night.
 
startler in women's tennis, Monica Puig from Puerto Rico won the gold. In the final she won in Angelique Kerber 6-4 4-6 6-1
first gold in the history at the Olympics for this country

Great to see Fiji win their first ever medal, and a gold one at that. Even though they beat GB in the rugby 7s, I am so happy for them. Same for Puerto Rico in the womens tennis, though I dont think it should be an olympic sport.

Also really enjoyed the womens beach volleyball. One of the Swiss players had massive.

Might sleep on the sofa tonight and set my alarm clock for the mens 100m semis and final 1am and 2:25 am over here. Only concern is getting back to sleep for work, oh well, I can ramp up the coffee.

I am USA player do not recognize any medal, animals, it's really a shame for the entire planet as they allowed such behavior, they should be out of all competition or those that go to doping, that everyone is the same and not to the rest related hand fight them
 
Republic of Singapore pays the biggest money for a gold medal: ~830000 dollars.

well getting to watch the olympics all day everyday some good sports on there the 100 metres was good wow now the 200 think it is going to come down to the same 3 again go canada go were doing good 🙂
