I think the only one who can make the choice is when you have seen both players play. I can only talk about Maradona. And in my eyes a better player. But like I said, you can only choose between these two guys when you have seen both play and haven't seen pele ever play...

The best opinion that I read today: Maradona is not even close to Pelé (Max Diver). You can not compare these two players, the most important title of the Maradona, was won in the cheating.

As a person, if Pelé is far from being an example of citizen. Maradona is light years away.

of course Maradona was better. Same like Messi is better than Maradona and any other player who lived on this planet. Only guys who don't understand football will disagree with that. And saying that Pele scored thousand goals or Maradona won wc, Messi plays only for FC Barcelona says me that some of you don't understand football and know nothing about tactics, how times changed, how players are generally better nowadays than in the past, how much space players had on the field in the past etc etc etc.

Hard to say. Everyone will have their own opinion on this. I will tell my opinion.

Pele is my choice, because this great man is considered the king of football, it was he who scored more goals in the history of this game.
