Messi has the talent by nature, CR7 works and strives all the time to stay in his prime because he does not have the talent of Messi. Both are good players but for me Messi is better.

I think Messi is better than the CR7 when it comes to football. But I would very much like Messi to have a strong and a leader as the personality of CR7.

Personally, I like Messi as a person more than Cristiano. He is modest, and Cristiano is just a pompous turkey. But with the fact that they are both geniuses in football, I will not argue. Just Messi is 99% of talent and 1% of the work, and Cristiano is the opposite. But this is only my personal opinion.

I did not like Ronaldo and Messi considered the greatest player of our time. But when Ronaldo won the Portugal European championship I changed my mind. I was thinking. Could Portugal have won without him? No. Just like real wouldn't win the Champions League. Like Manchester United 10 years ago. Ronaldo leads the team to victory. Any team. Messi is the best among equal great spanish partners. Messi leads Barcelona to victory. Only Barcelona.

Messi is probably the best football player ever. Maybe, the second best after Pele. He is in his 30s and still leads a team like Barcelona. Ronaldo is an excellent player with amazing physical capabilities and ferocious killer instinct, but between those two I always side towards Messi.
