Yes, surprises often occur in women's tennis. But I think not this time.

If Serena has her game on, Bianca may have a bit of a challenge if it gets that far. Serena has to get past Svitolina first! 🙂

I try to remind myself that any one of these players has a chance on any given day. We see it happen all the time.

I don't think so.
I don't know why but I don't like her neither as a sportsman nor as a public person.I think she has lost her time and chances to become a champion in tennis

When I used to watch tennis, I would always prefer to watch the ladies play. The men's game can be pretty boring if it's 2 big servers going head to head (and just hitting aces). At least with the women's game, we can expect longer rallies. That said, I hope Serena adds another Grand Slam title to her legendary career! 🙂:congrats:

How did you like the match with Svitolina? Watching the finale!

Serena was moving so very well last night - no one was going to touch her game. If she stays this focused and strong, Bianca has her work cut out for her. There is already mutual respect between the two so I'm hoping for an entertaining competition. As much as I love Serena (with all her flaws) I have to root for my girl Bianca!

Bianca has already gone very far in this tournament. But I respect your opinion. May the one who is better win.🙂

After that awesome comeback on the second set I was sure Serena was about to win it , it would be a triumph , the people were so excited , unfortunate it didn't happen . GG Serena , also congratulations to Andreesku for the well deserved win 🙂

When Serena tied the second set after being 1-5, I thought "oh no", this girl is choking.

But bianca played really well.

Huge win for Canada. Even bigger than the raptors.

I wouldn't rule out Serena just yet. And what about Bianca Andreescu? 😉

Svitolina has been very focused all tournament - she might be hard to beat.

Great foresight there 🙂 With all due respect to Serena, I think Bianca is the up and coming queen of the tennis world, and I'm so glad she's Canadian. We're sooooo overdue for a tennis star. Go Bianca!! and Goooo Canada!!
Tennis and Basketball.. who woulda thunk it? 😀

I have to admit that I haven't followed tennis in long while so I have never heard of with Bianca Andreescu. I watched the final VS Serena and was very impressed at her gameplay. She hits the ball hard and places it deep near the baseline with a lot of confidence. Clearly she was playing like she had nothing to lose while Serena seemed like the nervous and tight one as evidenced by her low first serve percentage (this should've been the other way around).

Congrats to Bianca and I hope to see more of her!! 🙂:bebored:
