I think Serena will win this and she will do another record!

I watched the last matches of Serena. She played well. I think she is ready to do it.

it all depends on her desire to win the tournament if she wants to then you will easily achieve goal!

Naomi plays well, but the pressure and experience of Serena will affect the game .. I think that Serena will win in the finals without problems!

Serena is big favorite and her previous loss on Wimbledom final, she will be very carefull this time. The other player has less pressure I guess, not favorite, never won a Grand Slam if she wins the first set she might have a chance.

im rooting for the person serna is playing got money on the underdog time for new champions to be made

It was a nightmare final. I did not expect such behavior from Serena.

It was indeed very weird.
I don't agree with the umpire to give a penalty of a full game, at that point of the match, but he was right about the coaching thing.

I have lost so much Respect for Serena tonight. Anyone who listened to her talk to all the referee's for that period between her first warning her last warning will see and know.

Serena did not behave like a champion, I agree with the umpire, all decisions were correct and legitimate.Serena in the home environment, with the results achieved, he thinks the rules do not apply to him.My only regret Osaka, played very well, yet she overshadows her success Serena's unjust behavior.

It was nice to see someone new win. And it was nice to see someone nice win.

To penalize a full game was too excessive. She didn't do nearly enough to force the umpire to influence the outcome of a grand slam championship match. Umpires take twenty times as much from the men players including cursing.

I agree that Serena should have done better keeping her cool but the penalty was too much for a match.

Serena Hellmuth just try to bully herself into a win against a stronger younger better player. What she did is absolutely wrong. That is not how a champion acts. Her coach admited he was coaching her from the stands and if you like it or not in this game it is a violation. I am happy to see the sports media calling her out for taking away a great moment for a young champion.

Didn't she threatened line judge after giving her footfault some years ago??

I love Serena - her personality, demeanour, style, and talent. It's unfortunate she couldn't keep it under control. A slip-up - I guess she is human after all.

Unfortunately, the spotlight was taken away from a first time Grand Slam winner.

I have the opinion that the referees are not so strict with men , also Serena should have been calmer , ignore the referee and try to focus on the game vs this capable young opponent .
Anyway , Serena is and will be no1 woman tennis player and I hope she comes back stronger after this defeat . Also congratulations to Osaka Naomi for the win .🙂

It was unfortunate the way that the controversy took over the match towards the end. It should not have overshadowed the competition and the victory.

Player was out of line, judge was correct. Whine is for cheese...

Naomi Osaka won the great and terrible Serena Williams with a score of 6-2 6-4 in the emotional final, I thought before the match that Serena will win and even put on it, but it's a sport! But how Serena behaved,I did not like, you should be able to lose. This is the second conflict with the judges when she can't win!

I can't believe Serena has been able to get through to the finals quite a few times recently and not be able to finish the deal. It seems like getting all the way to the finals would be the difficult part. Is father time really catching up to her or is she just stumbling because of being in the finals?
