This is a good question...poker requires strategy, intelligence, study your opponents, understand how the game is going on...like other sports.
So, what´s your oppinion...should poker be an Olympic Sport?
Remember that: prizes will be medals, worldwide fame, but no money (you will receive money only if your country´s olympic committee or your country´s government do that).

I dont think poker will ever make an appearance at the Olympics for a few reasons. The biggest reason against is poker is gambling.. justify it anyway you like it’s gambling and the ancient old heads at the IOC are strongly against it so very doubtful
Not poker but I can picture Mario Cart, Gold Medallist in Mario Cart gets this type of medal instead of those boring ones.So your suggesting the younger, more forward thinking IOC members might favor adding poker?I do realize the I in IOC does not stand for intelligence, but sheesh. Maybe shooting Craps for the winter olympics will be next.
