I think Brazil is a little different when it comes to gambling. Betting has become really popular here, but honestly, I don’t think people are mature enough yet to deal with it responsibly. A lot of people see sports betting as an easy way to make money instead of just entertainment. With all the advertising, influencers promoting betting sites, and how easy it is to bet from your phone, things can get out of control pretty quickly. I don’t think betting should necessarily be illegal, but I do think people need to understand the risks better. For me, the problem isn’t people betting for fun. The real problem is when people start thinking they can use gambling to make money or solve their financial problems.
No but it should be way way harder to lose so much money.
I know plenty of people complain at having to prove your address etc for verification, bit for me you should have to prove you can afford to lose problematic sums of money, say for example, above £100 per week, or 10% of your salery or some kind of limiter, for online anyway, its just too easy to play
