Here are my predictions for quarterfinals:

1) Medvedev defeats Wawrinka
2) Federer defeats Dimitrov
3) Monfils defeats Berrettini
4) Nadal defeats Schwartzman

Who will be in semifinals?

I have faith to roger federer although some say that he is old, it would be very good to surprise, I do not ask him to win everything, only to surprise.

I would very much like to have a FEDAL in the final. It would be a premiere. Federer and Nadal have never met at the US Open ... It would be a dream come true that would complete their legendary rivalry.

In the Grand Slam finals, the situation is as follows.

Australian Open: 1-1
...Roland Garros: 4-0 for Nadal
........Wimbledon: 2-1 Federer
.............US Open: Loading... (2019?)
 
Federer is out , very unfortunate , very sad for me ...... Anyway , life goes on , Nadal has easier job now for the title , I want to see if he succeeds . Tough to watch at 3am local time here , I hope I'll be able . Good luck to Nadal . Hope to watch a very good match .

I really can't believe that Grigor actually managed to defeat Federer, although Roger told in an interview he had an injury, still a great success for him.

Nadal won 1st set after a tough and exciting fight with breaks although it seemed at the first games he was in control of this set . I wanna see if the rest of the match will be exciting as well . gl Nadal 🙂
 
I loved watching Federer get knocked out by an unseeded. Made that guys life!
 
The final will be Nadal vs Medvedev. In my opinion Medvedev has little chance so Nadal will be the champion.
 
I wish I had watched Bencic vs Andreescu match . Now Serena to be the queen ??
For the men , today is the semi finals day , good luck Nadal , I will watch the matches , hope for great fights and duels 🙂

Unfortinly Roger is not gonna win this time. I hope the Canadian woman wins today ! And tomorrow Nadal probably a Champion
 
Congratulations to Nadal for the win , but also to Medvedev for the fight he gave to win it . I believe either of them could have won it and deserve it , well done both for this awesome match 🙂

Nadal won due to enormous experience. it is the 19th victory in tournaments of the Grand Slam?! to go crazy. I hope Medvedev's victories wait for him in the future.
 
I was shocked with Medvedevs backhand and angles he is able to produce... :O
 
Yesterday I watched the final and I was amazed by this two players even tho I watched only the final set, but still a great game and congratulations to Nadal who deserved to win.
 
Too little too late for Medvedev. If only he played the first two sets better, there were a good chance of winning the whole thing.
 
I was really pulling for Medvedev. In fact, I think I am a new fan!

Medvedev had a decent chance but Nadal has just too much experience over him.

It was a special final. I found it incredible from where Medvedev found so many resources to return from 2-0 to sets and break for Nadal in set 3. 😱😱😱 It was so close to a stunning overturn, unfortunately for him he did not return to the end. But age is on his side and I'm sure the Russian player will win such a tournament in the near future. :icon_joke
