Washington Nationals Baseball

That was a really tough series with the Philadelphia Fillies. The Nats won the first game 4-1.
Then we lost 3 games that we were ahead in line late innings. The bullpen gave all 3 games
away, total loss of control. No one could get outs. Ouch. Now to Baltimore for 3 games.

Much better. The Nats won 2 of the 3 games in Baltimore. The Orioles won the first game 3-1.
Washington bounced back and took the second game 4-3 in 10 innings. Then, we took the rubber game 6-4. Now on to Boston for 3 games.

Boston was good to the Nationals. Washington lost the first game 6-3. Then, we won the second game 8-1 and today in an afternoon game we won by the great score of 10-2. The Nats are now 2 games over .500 again at 45-43. and home in DC for 3 games with the Pirates.

Sure has been hot in Washington, 101F yesterday. The Nats won the first game from the Pirates 9-5. Then lost the second game 7-1. Today, middle 90's temperature, and thunderstorms expected after the game. Washington and Pittsburgh were tied in the top of the eighth 4-4 and Pittsburgh scored 5 runs to go up 9-4. In Washington's half of the eighth, they got a home run from Crews to make it 9-5 but thats all. 2 more runs for the Pirates in the 9th to make it 11-5. Washington did not score and the final was 11-5. The Astros are here next for3 games.
