Sport is always nearby, especially when you are not all right with health, I like to play football more, I would play volleyball, tennis, I love kettlebells, but the war is destroying everything
Darts is a great game to follow on a screen. Works well on double speed, and captures drama well. Although better years ago in smaller venues, with anguished close ups of wives and girlfriends.
As a retiree, I have a great deal of time on my hands...can't play poker all day...so I watch a fair bit of sports. As a Canadian, it would be downright disrespectful to not watch hockey. I enjoy baseball, basketball as well. The sport that I enjoy watching the most is the one that I played as a youngster, and participated as a professional official in my 20s...and that's tennis. I have been fortunate to call lines for some of the best tennis players in the world from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Can't play any more, but I still go to the Rogers Cup tournaments in Toronto...BTW, I prefer watching the ladies play more than the men because with the power of most male players these days, the points are over too fast.
