Dealing with limpers early mid stages

Punish the limpers by applying as much pressure as possible. They will often fold to a 3 bet raise..

I agree with those who say just limp right along with them. I know the pain. I 'm playing right now a game where that was happening. No matter how much I raised pre-flop I kept getting called by multiple players, and losing to a bad flop. I only started winning when I began to play the limp game. Now I'm in first place. Once we get to the final table the limping will stop - guaranteed!

The trick is to realize when your limped hand isn't a winner among the 2 or 3 other limpers and get out early.

I think fold or 3bet is good,but i dont know about limping behind A2s or 44,55 XD

you can try to play more aggressively against such players, and see their hands and try to use them to your advantage, but limping, in my opinion, is very dangerous if the player plays well enough

at 888 poker this is not a feasible mission at all, there the whole table limp by 1bb if you raise by even 6, even by 20 or even push, they will still be happy to call and no matter what hands they have. just come to terms with it

You have to make strong bets to throw at very bad hands that they have done limp, but if they get you up you have to be careful because they can have a very strong hand.

i play this way so ya aint sharing but i liked one suggestion lol the first one....raising a bit more while i have a feel out hand? might get me to fold but if i got a monster im probably shoving back on you i was just out of position in first place....its a chess game you know

one note in our tournaments here i see a lack of playing position at all see more people are playing starting hands over position...im still old school and position is most important thing to me overall in long run...i would say this group is more aggressive especially early especially in league....its interesting ill figure it out im sure but right now for a season and 6 weeks im not getting results im used to...i go back to studying trying new things....this last tournament i was aggressive got 16th i had 3 hands in that first hour that they had like 1 card or a loss the aggro guys...had ak or something finally hit turn or river me having str8 and flush draws on final card....its a tough game....i had chips so i played but luck wasnt there...i coulda tossed early but again blank board less then 10 high 4 to spades or str8 draws on top its tough is a tough game....got to practice learn motivations and your opponents and biggest know when your lucky and when your not..when lucky is easier to play hands that are marginable
